The mail in Mew-genics is an exciting thing.. you never know what you might get! maybe it will be an invitation to the next Cat Fight? maybe your children sent you a dollar bill... could be a notice of violation from the county about the smell, or more importantly your next SSI check!

either way, the mail is vital. it keeps you up to date on all what all your friends (and enemies) are up to, gets you into many upcoming contests and even drops some knowledge into that little brain of yours in form of vital cat facts!

Ok, time to show one aspect of game play, though without much context this post will seem odd.. but in time you will "Ah Ha" all over it.

I bring you... the Trinket Display Case!



As you play Mew-Genics stuff will appear.. "stuff" meaning food, poop, barf, kittens, mail... etc. this stuff is quite common of course... but did you know that sometimes these things appear imbued with magic properties that change space and time?! well its true!

the key to finding and using said mystical objects is acquiring your 1st Trinket Display Case (Tink is the man you'll want to talk to about this). this case can hold 15 Trinkets, and utilize the properties of one, the active item obviously being "The Petrified Poop".

Currently there are 105 Trinket types in the game, each trinkets properties are semi randomly generated, so there is a good chance that a friends petrified poop wont be the same as yours, THANK GOD! i mean how embarrassing would it be if both of you came to the dance with the same petrified poop! MORTIFIED!

Anyway, yeah Trinkets! they do stuff! and become more vital as the game progresses.. but more on that later!
