I think I found a bug, but I'm not sure. I have completed Forest Chapter. I got all levels, all bandages, all warps. Games says I completed 100%, but Meat Stats says I completed 98,83%. At one point it was shoing i got 103% when the game was showing 95%...

And one more Thing. I'm new to Meat Boy, and I don't understand how all leaderboard scores are 0 seconds. Some are -236743. How do people do that?

Because in game total progress have glitch level completed progress, i thought chapter progress must have it too properly. But i don't know why you got 103% before? If you sent screenshot from chapter stats tab it will be useful to understand what is wrong. Maybe i should show 100% even if glitch level is not completed?

Mainly 0 second times glitch. Timer sometimes not starting so when you complete level, game uploading your time as 0 second.

Any chance of the difference between people's time being added? For the compare part of the website :)

Miz made web site and he not working on it.

I added auto image convert option for convert TP files to PNG.
TP files have one or more PNG files inside.

Also another tab for be able to convert PNG files back to TP.
It will be useful for change texture or color of characters.
Like this red runman:

or blue potato boy:

By the way i forget to tell, thanks to Logomorph for C++ unpacker source codes it helped me to make this unpacker in C#.

SMBStats 1.8.0.0 released.

- Added SMBStats update checker

The update replaced the file with all of the Meat Boy graphics was replaced by the file with all of the Potato Boy graphics, so that's not a glitch at all.

It'll be turned back to normal on the next update, for now, enjoy your potatoes.

I checked meat boy sprite files not replaced. Just potato boy sprites added.

Get Golden God yourself and fuck around then. Using a 106% save file will award you the achievement, unless you're playing it offline. That's if you can find one though. Spend the time looking for a save file on beating some levels yourself.

i didnt mean it like that, i was goig to fuck around with all chars, see wat theyre like, then delete it, i found one but i didnt want to fuck the whole game up so im sticking with my normal file for now.

i better hang up my halol, and get ready for hell

If you want to try all characters then you can use devmode with -char parameter.

Are there any more plans to update this?

I want to add data unpacker to it but I'm not sure is it legal or not.
I need to ask it to Edmund probably.
Also when level portal update release i must add new official levels to it. (Cramps etc.)
Other than thats nothing left to add.

Edit: Edmund allowed me to add data unpacker and i added it.
Also i added auto update checker.

lol cant use the Leaderboard function for individual levels, Fortiguard is blocking it

Both global and levels using same url and only difference is leaderboard id parameter.
I don't know what is Fortiguard but it is strange how global working and levels not working.
But I'm sure it is nothing to do with SMBStats.

What about adding a kind of compare mode which uses Steam leaderboard ?
It could show each level in a different color in function of our rank (global or friends).

I don't understood what you mean. But probably what you want will require too much http request and won't be good to implement it.
I'll try to better explain the idea:
- add a column "Rank"
- for each level, change the row color in function of this rank (1st : green, 2nd: light green...)

Of course, it would need a cache system to prevent doing to many a http requests.

It will be very slow even if i use multi threads.
And it will require too much work. So I'm not thinking to make it.

Meat Boy Wallpaper:

To be honest i don't liked colors of background, it is like orange.
Also you can find more big meat boy picture and white glow of it not looking good too.

Could you make Leaderboards for each level? So you can compare your single best time against others on the same level? Just like on the XBLA Leaderboards?

It is already exist. Right click to any level and select "Leaderboard".

What about adding a kind of compare mode which uses Steam leaderboard ?
It could show each level in a different color in function of our rank (global or friends).

I don't understood what you mean. But probably what you want will require too much http request and won't be good to implement it.

Edit:

SMBStats 1.7.1.0 released.
New character icons from Zarkith and auto steam id converter added.

I ran in to a problem with the program not saving its settings.

I looked at the ini file and noticed it hadn't saved the settings there. So I manually edited the file and then it loaded them fine.

I then noticed it had saved a copy of the ini to E:\Steam\steamapps\common\super meat boy\UserData. So it was loading from the one in its own folder and saving to the one in Steam.

This is using 1.7.0.0.

SMBStats never saved ini file to UserData folder for me. It is saving ini file to where SMBStats running from. I'm giving "Settings.ini" as path for load and save so it will use current directory automatically which means where current process running. I will give full path with current process folder path in next release then. But still i don't understand how your SMBStats saving it to UserData folder? I never encountered save/load related problem. It must be you doing something wrong or your pc have something wrong

Edit:
I changed first post to include full change log.

You should really consider adding "OK" button for the STEAM ID thing. And it wouldn't hurt to have an example on how it should look. It took me forever to realize that you are supposed to type the numbers in and then simply close the thing. In fact, I had to come to this topic to see how it's actually done.

By the way, it doesn't seem to support any other than the number-serie for me. I tried putting my community ID, but it didn't save it. I tried putting my steamID and it didn't save that either. Then I put the numbers and it saved it.

I know it is required and i planned to add it in next release.
Now i added it:

So i can write "  hhhttp://steamcommunity.com/profiles/ww///  " and it can still find steam id correctly.

Edit:

New icons from Zarkith:

I added auto convert button now so you can write any of these for be able to use leaderboard friend filter:
FriendID (64 bit SteamID) = 76561197964799523 or http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197964799523
SteamID = STEAM_0:1:2266897
CommunityID = ww or http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/ww

By the way new character icons from Zarkith:

Background work is awesome. I want meat boy version of this!
30  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Super Meat Boy Stats 1.8 on: March 19, 2011, 09:17:45 AM
I can't get it to accept my Steam ID. Maybe it's because there is no "ok" button, only an "x" to close the settings window? Whatever the case, after I enter my Steam ID and close the settings window, it reverts back to "0" as my Steam ID.

Probably because you are using Community ID or ingame Steam ID?
I not added Community ID to Steam ID converter button yet. (I will add)
Example my Steam ID: 76561197964799523
So if you enter something non number then it wont save it.
