Finally, after a few months away from Meat Boy I came back to do the final 5%. Skyscraper was a bit of an asshole, but it felt sweet to get the Golden God achievement right after nailing that last bitch of a jump.

Easily my greatest video game achievement.

Shit, I was gutted to find that my XBLA had forgotten the last three bandages in Hell that I'd collected earlier. But they only took me 15 minutes to get back. I'm not sure I could face The Guy warpzone again...

Great video. Some of it must have been torturous to complete.

I just beat XOXO, for me it's not in the same league as Kid1. The first two thirds of the level can be easily completed over and over, and I never got that with Kid1. The last jumps are fucking annoying, but failing them never really scarred my soul like beefing it on the last jump of Kid1.

Skyscraper is creeping up my list. It's not hard per se, I just fuck up on it all the time.

I don't think I'll be trying any more Iron Boy runs, especially since I play on xbawks.

Still, kudos to Impossible Boy club members. Super Meat Boy is a tough game, and the Iron Boy runs are some of the hardest achievements I've ever seen. Nice work.

My first run through the game (I mean 106%) was horrible, something like 7000 deaths, I guess.

I'm on 18000 deaths at 92%. Oh dear.

I use it as my rage quit frustration last resort to complete a level. I usually do it for bandadges, though.

Also, including SMB bandages in your signature boast after describing how you cheat to get some of them is pretty weak.

Also, that last jump in Skyscraper is a bitch. Help? I cant do it (I only hax the first 2 levels, I do the 3rd one legit)

You know, if a level is too hard for you, you could just leave it uncompleted.

I'm really not sure that I see the point of cheating in SMB. The idea is that it is meant to be difficult. Not being able to complete The Guy and Skyscraper doesn't prevent you from seeing much of the game.

Hopefully, Team Meat will add this bandage in steam-version.

TRUE CHALLENGE, HO!

Not really much of a challenge. I played the level again right after getting the A+ and got the bandage to see if it appears on the Cotton Alley level list (it does). Shame I didn't pay attention to see if my percentage changed, then I wouldn't have needed this thread.

Searched for a thread, couldn't find one. I'm sure most people know about the bandage (7-12x Pink, Xbox only), but does it add to overall %?

I guess I should add I really do love the music too. I enjoyed playing Hell's Dark World because of Devil 'n' Bass, despite being introduced to the demon maws.
