1  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: no cloud save storage is fail for a game like this. on: April 05, 2011, 12:48:44 AM
Just about to start on steam as I work my way through the dark world on XBLA.

I've never used Steam before at all and have somewhat shoddy internet connection at my house (seems to just disconnect for no reason), is this something definitely worth doing in this case? Sounds like a good little hack but don't want to bother if it's not essential. I'll probably really only be playing on one machine.

Cheers!

Cool. That seems a good enough list to be getting started with then.

n9195v = will definitely be in touch once I get the game.

Thanks all for your help!

Finally beat the Cotton Alley last night (light world). Must. Get. Better.

Hey Y'all,

Was wondering if you had any suggestions for people who really enjoy SMB. I'm looking for some other similar games but have never been much of a PC gamer (sacrilege, I know).

Would love any suggestions of other similar style games (masocre) for XBLA particularly if the gameplay would be similar. I'm trying to find some more stuff but am starting to genuinely think that SMB is the single greatest video game ever created.

Thanks!

Hello fellow Meat Boy lovers. I drew this as a response to another drawing on canvas. I can't take credit for the whole thing obviously, but still enjoyed and thought you might too :)

Full thread to see how it evolved (and to give credit to the person who provided the framework :): http://canv.as/p/1b4aq

I am baffled, though my hat is off to you! Congrats - looking forward to taking the levels for a spin when I get home!
7  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / How Do You Rank (difficulty) All Existing Chapters? on: February 22, 2011, 01:50:28 AM
Hello All,

After the post released today announcing the new levels for XBLA ( ) I was wondering what people's thoughts were on ranking entire chapters and how you would rank each one? Apologies if this has been done before... I did search and have not come across such a thread.

For now we can start with Team Meat's rankings for the new levels (as I've not had a chance to play yet) and I'll put in my own two cents for the other chapters. My ratings are assuming the use of Meat Boy and just the main levels in the light worlds.

Would be interested to hear what others think!
