Unless the level is absolutely god-awful, I can spend an hour+ trying to beat it.

Picked up Serious Sam HD The Second Encounter for $6.79.
Worth it, even if it goes on sale in a few days.

Everyone in the Steam forums is being really whiny about this achievement and swapping game saves to get their ticket.  I'm kind of a little bitter about that.

I'm not even that good at this game, I don't think, and still managed to do it.  The Kid can get you way under par on those moving platform levels.  Beh.   

Honestly, I think the hardest part was beating Billy Boy, which I for whatever reason find insanely difficult.

I use Flywrench for that. He makes it easier for me. 

OK, I just checked it out with SMB Stats.. So the Total Par time  691,8 and <500 is needed? Uff.. I think thats pretty tough. I have about 545s now and I have to improve all the levels in the next 24hours? I don't think many people who buy the game on the sell will get this without downloading a savegame... (I know the achievement will stay after the summer camp thing...)

Yeah. Those damn genital levels on nightmare difficulty must be intentional...

I chose the Nightmare setting and every level was easy as shit, then i chose "Too young to die" setting and every level was hard as morning wood..

Excellent analogy.

On a sidenote, I'm liking how Team Meat stuck in a Doom easter egg for the difficulty setting in Enter The Unknown!

I don't really remember DOOM that well. I was scared of moving more than 3 inches, and was busy blasting shit. On normal. 

But now in chapters the name is whatever the last standalone level you played was.

In other news, the freeze between levels is gone! 

I think rating is actually working now. a ton of level ratings have changed.

Well. Update, now I finally have ALL npcs, and that makes me happy. I also fought eater of world twice, and he was to lazy to go to my dreams, what a nice guy. The Corruption isn't so scary anymore, now that I know where everything is placed on my map, a goblin army invaded my town, and killed all my npc's expect for the guide (I think he's invisible) and my gun dealer, since he's on my left side of my home, other npcs are on right.

I also hit 16 hours of it.

Guide is essentially invincible. I murdered him with lava on my worlds, though.

You can put a block infront of doors to keep NPCs safe. I know I do. 2 torches on either side of a door locks a door, essentially. 

My demolitionist (or whatever it's called) isn't spawning even though i got a NPC house and bombs

Lately, I haven't dared to go to the corruption, it's fu<k!ng scary in there, but today I dared to go in there to get some stuff. Now I will have nightmares. At least I found myself a gun in there, and after I was through it, I built up when I came to ANOTHER corruption, and I found a floating island with a balloon in it. Guns and Balloons, best reward...EVER! Problem is that the silly arms dealer just doesn't want to come, and if I break another shadow orb, eater of the world is coming to my house (and dreams).

You need 1 house by NPC, every of the houses need to have 1 chair, 1 table, 1 light source, background walls (except dirt) and a door.

By the way if you want to fight Eater of Worlds the easy but long way, just make an arena with wooden platforms and 1 solid-blocks tower so he can climb then fall through the wooden platforms.

The house needs to be at least 12 wide by 5 tall, by the way.
