Onslaught Arena is an HTML5 browser based game on the Chrome App Store and the Mac App Store, it's a top down arena combat game that normally looks ilke this:

But right now it looks like this:

It's also free right now, where normally it's $2.

Official April 1st PR:

Onslaught! Arena v1.2.25 is FREE (today only)

Good news, everyone! We just launched a big update to Onslaught! Arena, and to celebrate we're making it FREE for today only in the Chrome Webstore!

Based on market research findings, this update includes the following changes:
Graphics update to make main character more likable.
Title change to something more recognizable.
You die in only one hit (but your game is saved after each wave).

It's normally $1.99, so get it while it's hot! I mean, free and stuff!

It was also one of the games demoed at Sony's NGP reveal. Not sure if it was for tech demo purposes or if it's going to be on NGP too.

It's probably a bit more forgiving than Rick Dangerous in how much time you get to avoid traps, but yeah definitely inspired by it.

Figure this might be up the alley of Meat Boy fans, brutally hard $1 Japanese platformer on Xbox Indies:

It's more trial and error based than Meat Boy though, because of it's emphasis on traps.
You start with 1000 lives, and you might need them all...

It'd be neat as a hidden character. His special ability: Inability to stand still because he's ON FIRE.

360 pad ftw!

Did someone try Arcade Stick? (an arcade edition of SMB would be awesome!)

Arcade stick works really well, so does this controller (It's part of this):

13  Super Meat Boy / Level Editing / Re: When will the level editor become available? on: January 20, 2011, 10:19:56 PM
Let's hope soon! Also, if the level editor comes in 2 weeks, does the Mac version on Steam come as well?

Mac version is sometime after the level editor.
