Exactly!  I may extend the hiatus to until the editor is out, but honestly I'll probably find myself coming back before then just because forums are great time killers and I always have tons of time I need to kill.

Thanks for all the words people (yes, even the mean spirited ones).  The fact that I am famous/infamous on a forum is a totally new concept to me so it's kinda neat.

Hopefully the next time I log on I'll no longer be the highest posting individual (but I doubt it).

Let's face it... 99% of people play this to say they beat it.  It's that simple.  The 1% that do enjoy it are ashamed they did because of how many annoying LPs, forum posts and other ego trips we've had to suffer from others who think they are badass for completing the game when they honestly hated every moment of it.  Don't get me wrong I am one of the 1% mentioned, but I seriously don't put myself through absolute hell for brag rights alone.  I put myself through the abuse because there are sweet memories in it for me linked to my childhood wasted in front of the nes.  Games are meant to be an enjoyable distraction and if you're not enjoying it, then wtf is wrong with you.  Stop mentally abusing yourself and go play angry birds or pokemon.

This game was fun but needed way, WAY more shit to do to be fully appreciated.  I realize some people are going to get mad at me for saying that, but it's true.  In fact, that is the biggest reason most people never even make it to open waters in that game.  If there was more to do during the entire game and the tutorial shit at the beginning didn't take an hour or 2 to do before your first real dungeon, more people would love this title and get to experience its amazing soundtrack and visual presence

I hate to be the one to point this out since it is a pretty good game and Edmund did create the initial artwork before it got drawn on top of by another artist; but a good portion of the game including the story and gameplay was stolen from a flash game called "The Company of Myself", which was written and conceived of by another artist

Beat Hazard can get pretty brutal on the eyes in the higher difficulty settings with a nice high tempo song.

I am honestly astounded to discover that people actually like the textures from Minecraft.  I mean, they're good enough but they still have a long way to go.  Makes me wonder about how the fan reaction is going to be when they finally update them as the game reaches completion.

The textures are part of the reason minecraft is cool.

People really believe that?  Minecraft is cool despite the textures.  It's so much fun that when I play I don't care that it looks like a shitty N64 game, but that doesn't mean it doesn't look like a shitty N64 game (as far as textures go.  Obviously an N64 could never render a Minecraft world)
