You lost your save? Jesus, that must suck... I had 84%, but oh well, now I backup my save on dropbox. Drop box rocks. I'm not big on uploading stuff, but it makes it so easy and fast when I actually want to share my creations

It does run smoother in windowed mode but I really would like to play full screen without changing the graphics settings. Its weird to me that my computer can handle games like oblivion and starcraft 2 but can't handle a 2d platforming game.
Super Meat Boy has a surprisingly large amount of stuff going on at once, and as a result it's very CPU heavy. Your best bet is to lower the quality, but another possibility is to close all other programs and see if that helps. Also don't be deceived by windowed mode. On my computer it causes the game to run slower, but it seems to vary from person to person for whatever reason.

From their twitter regarding Hominid: "no characters will be removed"
BAM!
Yeah, obviously. Who would pay to get a character REMOVED? People were speculating that he would replace Headcrab since Headcrab is Steam exclusive. You asked about PC version. D2D is PC version but does not have Headcrab. Your question was vague Wasn't my question, but the quote from their website still stands. They said it would be exactly like the Steam version except with Hominid. I would find the quote but you can just look a few posts up. I can't believe anyone would think he'd replace a character. Only an idiot would pay to have a character REMOVED. People weren't sure if it was based on the D2D version or the Steam version. It makes sense that people may wonder if Headcrab was going to be removed (since if it was based on D2D he wouldn't be in it, and Headcrab already is the bonus character for Steam). It's not really fair to call those people idiots.

I hear only 6 keys can be affected by gravity. That's not what the problem is, is it? Anyways, I'm glad to hear you solved the problem

I did play like that until chapter 3. I could actually feel the carpal tunnel syndrome creeping up after about 15 minutes or so.
This. After a couple hours, I had to start using my pinky, ring finger AND middle finger for shift. Three days in I felt like I might have to amputate my left hand. My wrist was dying from having to bend funny, and my pinky had officially resigned from making any kind of lateral movement whatsoever. Key binding changes are a must. I think I explained this in another thread, but I'm on a laptop, so the distance is perfect. I don't need to stretch my hands at all to reach shift and space at the same time. It's very comfy.

I'm hoping they make more characters for Meat Boy and sell them as DLC, I'll probably buy ultra edition for steam.
Thats what they said they wouldn't do, wasn't it? (Not make people have to pay for extra levels etc.) That is correct. They don't like paid DLC. Any we see will be free, so in other words don't hold your breath.
