with the kid it wasn't that much rage, more suffering. :D having to beat level 3 after doing the first two is just mean. :D

but skyscraper... OOOOOOH SKYSCRAPER. hatehatehatehatehate.

7-19 (light world) was a reeeeeeeeal b*tch, too. i actually found the dark counterpart a bit easier, because the meanest stuff is right at the start then (and you can even cheat the descending saws, which i stopped after i realized i could be fast enough anyway and wanted to get A+)

dark fetus boss glitched on me and was too fast... beat him by outrunning the saws, though. :D

other than that there were a few levels in the light and dark versions of the rapture and cotton alley that almost made me cry. the dark one with a million cannons for example, where you have to get the key and then survive until the keyhole-blocks disappear... or panic switch. omigawd, panic switch. i could NEVER do a "no death" run on that world because i find that level impossible to beat without dying a gazillion times.

oh, and did i mention how much i LOOOVE smb rage videos? someone start i thread, i'm too lazy right now! :D
If you grab the key and then squeeze by the left side of the wall, none of the missles will hit you, the sawblades will go right by you, and you'll get the bandage as it moves up. After the sawblades rise you can just go under them while avoiding the missles. I'm so glad I figured this out too, without it it's just about impossible.

I think it was some long Cotton Alley level, but I made it all the way through on like my third try just to miss this tiny random sawblade in the ground by a fraction of an inch. My friends were all watching too...

Cave story, Minecraft, VVVVVV...

I actually got VVVVVV because I heard one of the songs. I still like the music better than the game.

Commander Video looks pretty cool, too bad he's not that useful once you're well into the game.

Viridian looks like (and plays like) crap though, which kinda sucks, because VVVVVV is one of my favorite games...
80  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: How many times have you bought Meat Boy? on: January 21, 2011, 06:12:31 AM
Only once, sadly. At least that, because I mostly pirate games too. But I couldn't bring myself to pirate such an awesome indie game.

I HAVE bought like 5 copies of minecraft though...

I just tried it a bit whenever I got the chance, eventually I got 2 hours or so to actually sit down and beat it.
82  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Controller or Keyboard? on: January 21, 2011, 06:09:57 AM
I'm probably weird for this, but I beat most of the game with keyboard, then got a controller, tried using it, and found it to be impossible for me. All the little trick jumps I had taught myself were to mechanical to be done easily and consistently on a controller.

So I just use it for emulated games now, I still play beat boy with a keyboard.
