I bought a blender on the net, it was shipped to me without a blade and I contacted the sales people and said WTF, there is no blade?! The answer I got is that they tried to put one in but it seemed it was impossible, and said it was my fault for taking for granted that a blender should come with a blade...
As hard as I try not to be a dick here, well, I still see no reason whatsoever I should play SMW and will not, whatever is said and done I consider SMW flawed beyond common sense (completion, times and A+, I don't care about leaderboards at all). The Super Meat Boy Ultra edition is an awesome paper weight though.

I haven't played SMB since Edmund said completion/A+ probably won't be in SMW. I have no intention of playing this game again even though it's one of my favorite games of all time, unless of course TM adds A+ amd completion status/times.
These events have antagonized me as a fan, this is how I feel and I just can't help it.

What's even more horrifying is that supposedly they made it so that you have to use this feature in SMW to pass some levels.
That is most definitely false. If a level was so broken that it was not possible without exploits, Team Meat would never add it. But anyway, I'm not really disappointed in it. I am a bit disappointed, but I won't be when it's completely finished. What would make me REALLY disappointed is if they never added in SMW recognizing level completion. No, it's not "most definitely false"... 5 Levels were added for the ARG competition and those Levels CAN'T be completed, therefore they could NOT be uploaded unless they used some kind of a trick. |

Since the question is about SMW not SMB in general, my answer HAS to be the harshest one.
I simply haven't played SMW and WON'T unless we get completion and A+ stats. It is really frustrating me but I am not waisting my time on this if I can't get validation. I have already beat the game at 106% 3 times, there is really no point for me to play anymore on PC unless we get those BASIC features.
It's like a mountain bike without the ability to shift gears, basically it would still function but it would be a poor quality product. (This analogy is aimed at SMW, not SMB in general, which I love of course)

Glad to see I am not the only one who bought a console for one specific game, I bought an XBOX 360 solely to play Trials HD, and it was worth it and Super Meat Boy, Braid and Limbo were other gems that made my purchase worthwile.
On topic: It is confirmed that Trials HD will never hit the PC but I can't wait for another Redlynx Trials game, and Steam would be a great platform for it.

I am pretty pissed right now, SMW is TOTALLY POINTLESS AND USELESS without completion and A+, I will never play the PC custom levels until it's fixed and if it's never going to be fixed I will regret buying the game for PC, screw that "Ultra" edition if a basic functionality can't be added.
