Should be gone as of a few hours ago to my knowledge. Hopefully Edmund finished adding in the necessary file to make "Starlight" open properly. If not, you can play the levels by selecting them in the level section. The chapter file was missing earlier to load the chapter screen.

Super Meat Boy / Meat Helping / Re: Crazy times on the leaderboards?

It's either a glitched or hacked. There's also some levels that has impossible Naija times, which usually means they accidently bugged through a wall. I know I have 0.52 on 1-1 and naija just flew through the platform where Bandage girl is. VVVVVVV can also bug through ground. There's one level where he bugged through for me. Well, all character can bug through walls etc, if you have ram-lag or HDDlag the game continues while the frame is freezed and you will often end up dead, but sometimes it helps you. But please don't enter the goal if that occurs ^^
It's more than possible to get a rather low time on 1-1 with naija without walling. I have a .7 iirc.

My old pc had this issue with xp where it wouldn't install 2 of the VC distros even on a clean windows install. It would say shit like it was installed but would try downloading it each and every time windows update ran. Also had the annoyance of bsods after an hour or two of any game, sometimes sooner. I am not 100% sure what was causing this stupidity but it vanished the moment I got rid of my Nvidia card. Also haven't seen that issue at all since upgraded to win 7 64bit. I don't know how to resolve this issue, but I do know it's either Nvidia's fault or Microsoft's. Be ready to battle your pc until you get a new one because it won't vanish easily.

Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Get a free game with the level editor! *CONTEST CLOSED*

Pretty sure the main post says "level editor" which is not out yet. Those people have won nothing imo. Contest should resume with no additional submissions since news posts and such could skew it in favor of someone being sneaky.
Ok, Ill explain, so everyone could understand it. You know that theres 3 big updates on SMB, tight? This was the first, the second is the level editor, and the third comes with more stuff and official announce. My idea is that the people who said a date in one of this updates happens, "win". After that, Ill made a fast and little contest to select 6 of this people, and they will get the game. The other people that doesnt get the game... well... Ill try to see what I can do for them. Ah, makes more sense. I thought you ended it when i saw "winner" next to some names. So you're going to do a lottery of some sort at the end with the selected "winner"s?

- You have to use the mousepad to go to the levels, instead the keyboard and gamepad that doesnt work for that.
Also noticed earlier when I gave the new chapter a run (didn't bother with the user made ones since I have already played all of them pre-patch) the mouse doesn't accurately select the levels or chapters in windowed mode. Literally had to move the mouse way higher for the ones on top and way lower for the ones below just to select anything.

Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: The new update and Potato Boy!

The whole update is crap. I expected a cleaner running game after 4-5 months of "hard" work. The loading of SMW takes alot longer than the Xbox version, fun factor doesn't work, SPB chapter isn't finished (I can see why), levels (all levels, in-game ones too) have a bit more lag starting out, End crashes (I was planning on doing Dead Boy tomorrow) and no Hell music for Expert Remix? My total performance and ammo have gone up after the lag of starting the levels go away. Don't complain with "but...but...but...not finished!" because honestly more pleasing design could have gone into it. Not bashing Team Meat totally, but it's a bit below-average. I think it's just a debug patch tbh. As far as the chapter is concerned, they don't have to be 20 levels to be complete. Edmund stated months ago that anywhere from 3 to 20 levels constitutes a chapter. I think the only reason we got a patch at all was to do the April Fools potato gag and the addition of an unfinished SMW was just included as a bonus. It will be finished when it is finished. But for the time being, I'm avoiding the game. I already dealt with the preorder bug bullshit-fest once... I'm not doing it twice.

Super Meat Boy / Meat Helping / Re: Is the Glitch levels obligatory for Golden God?

This thread seriously made my head hurt. I would simply say this: aim toward doing everything that is possible in the game and when/if it unlocks early, rejoice! This. All this time arguing about math could be better spent unlocking Golden God. Considering I unlocked it within days of owning the game upon its late November release date? pft!

Thanks Roboticaust! Can those of you who have had an incidence of spawning off screen please take a screen shot of that for me? Just as it looks when you spawn I mean. If I can see exactly where it cuts off that should help me adjust it. If it's on more than one level, could you kindly take a shot for each one? Thanks!! Spawning off screen has to do with them using inferior resolutions. For those of you having issues with devmode created levels, play the damn game windowed in a 16:9 resolution rather than trying to play fullscreen in a 4:3. It's not us devmode people messing things up for you, it's you that is messing it up. Devmode does not have an elegant solution to this so refrain from bitching that the standard game has no problems therefore we are clearly doing something wrong. Hopefully this will be patched in the editor, but until then if you want additional content... l2resolution! *scratches another thing off the list* Screwed around with a few different ideas to get the Jumper Returns levels to work in both 4:3 and 16:9 to no avail. The only way to get it to play nice is to remove zooms and camera nodes and just use the bounding box which can really hamper some levels (especially levels where you are trying to achieve a continuity effect like Ryoko was). No need breaking your levels to make sure the 3 people still using crt monitors can play them imo.
