After hours upon hours of techno-wizardry, I come bearing an incredible technological feat. SUPER MEAT BOY WITH CO-OP MULTIPLAYER*. This behemoth of code is so astounding and awe-inspiring, that it's in an early alpha stage. I beseech you, Team Meat's forum, to test and revel in delight of what I have wrought. http://filesmelt.com/dl/MEATY.zipIn order for your computer to run this miracle of man and science, you merely must have www.python.org's infamous programming language, python, installed. *By which I mean a minimalistic, Zork-esque game I programmed in 2 hours, it mostly works and features a whole readme.txt, which is about half the size of the actual game.

Announced in 2007. No announcement for 2011.
Fuck Valve.
I'm suprised that you care so much for the upcoming Half-Life game. It, along with so many others made by this cooperate, art-form-raping monster, are just sequels that are made to get money rather than invoke the deep emotions of such games as shadow of colossus. Personally, I believe that valve singlehandedly is ruining the industry for intellectuals such as myself who understand gaming as an art-form (You have no right to pass judgement because I have a different opinion).

I'd have to say my top 3 (fight the system) games of this year would have to be 3. Sam and Max Season 3 I found it to be a nice little set of adventure games. It's voice acting was excellent, and the dialogue was very well-written. It also has strong lovecraftian overtones in the later bits 2. Recettear (Despite it being as anime as all hell) The graphics of the game were absolutely adorable spritework. It has challenging dungeons in the non-shopkeeping bit(The dungeons are typically the bulk of the game when you're not going about selling your wares). 1. Pokemon Soul silver It's a remake of my favorite in the series. It's fairly long, has a nifty pedometer gimmick, and makes a good chunk of the newer 'mons able to be found without fiddling with trading and such.
