They'll keep it like they kept the Potato sack achievements.
There were Potato Sack achievements?

The only thing from there that I recall was the addition of Potato Boy and a whole 8 stages that we can use him on. Seems like a waste of assets to disallow us from making more Potato Boy stages with the editor, but it's not my game to make decisions with.

The achievement was renamed to "Medium Well"

Oh well, I liked BBQ Boy better.

BBQ Boy: Spend as little time as possible in Hell

If you are unsure how to get this new achievement (since the description is vague and it's hidden from view if you haven't gotten it already), here's what you must accomplish:
  • You must clear Hell, both light and dark world
  • The sum of your best times in Hell must be less than some threshold (this threshold is unknown)

That's it.

I got it by booting up my game since I already had met those requirements, but this is to help out the newbies and those who are uninformed. It won't make it any easier, but at least you know what you need to do.
4  Super Meat Boy / Level Editor / Alternative scrolling binds on: June 16, 2011, 02:03:50 PM
I'll make this short for anyone who wants to get right to the point by bolding the appropriate line.

Upon trying out the editor for the first time since my hiatus ended, I was displeased to learn that I required a scrollwheel to switch through the tiles and objects: something that I do not have (touchpads aren't so great and the only optical mouse that I have has had a horrible scroll-wheel that is practically unresponsive). It'd be unfair to me that I would be required to purchase additional hardware in order to use a feature (Brownie is just fine since he's statistically identical to Meat Boy). If the up and down arrow keys were bound to perform the same action as scrolling up and scrolling down, that'd be a godsend to me and any others who might be lacking in optimal mouse hardware. Thank you for your time.

It's titled "Super Meat Boy Editor" if you are doing a search for it. It's really not hard to miss if you know what you're looking for.

I've gotten successful results. I had an error with my monitor "Out of Range" but I quickly fixed that by forcing it to 60 Hz.

I'm gonna need to use -windowed -ultralowdetail -640x480 to run it on this machine, but it's working at last.

Locking topic.

This application has failed to start because XINPUT9_1_0.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I got this error message after running a full re-download and re-install.

I've run it without Steam in the background by going to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\super meat boy\SuperMeatBoy.exe

That's a DirectX error, if I'm not mistaken. My memory is a bit hazy with DirectX and its nuances.

I've done another manual DirectX install and will reboot before attempting once again. Will return with results.

I've done both of those things. No dice.

I've been on a hiatus for a bit after my motherboard fried up, I'm on the family computer for now.

I've downloaded and installed SMB via Steam thus far. Upon first running, it does the regular installation of DirectX for Windows like with pretty much every other Steam game that uses it. Anyway, upon attempting to run the game, I will see the familiar window stating that it's being prepared to run, then nothing. I try again, this time checking my Steam status, I am in-game for a second and then that border turns blue once again denoting that I'm no longer in-game. I'm not even greeted with an error message of some sort.

I don't know what's causing this, but it has rendered the game completely unplayable since I can't even get to the loading or splash screens.

I'm running Windows XP Home Edition V 2002 Service Pack 3
AMD Athlon Processor 2650e 1.61 GHz. 896 MB of RAM

Just stopped by to say that I got a V rank on all of the time trials (sans Laboratory, Final Challenge, and Space Station 2). Almost got Laboratory but that gap on Please Forgive Me is brutal, Final Challenge I'm just too sloppy with my movements, and Space Station 2 has Doing Things the Hard Way. I've lasted 57 seconds in the Super Gravitron, completed the game in Flip Mode, and cleared the game with only 20 deaths (all coming from the Gravitron and Final Challenge combined).

I only got the game 6 days ago and only got to actually play it shortly after the weekend started.
11  Super Meat Boy / Level Editor / Re: Will the Xbox 360 version be getting a level editor? on: April 30, 2011, 08:47:21 AM
Xbox360 users won't be getting Super Meat World nor will they get the level editor, sorry for the inconvenience.

I don't even know what it is

You're quick to make assumptions. The situation is not boolean, there are other things that I have gripes with that I have voiced my disdain with, just elsewhere as those things are not relative to this forum.

Why you think post count matters?
Why you think best time on a level matters ?
Since when have I ever implied that it does?
