Despite popular belief, game developers usually aren't good at their own game. He probably didn't use any unfair advantages to get to the no. 1 spot. So I guess when you beat him you can go ahead and say that you beat him 'at his own game' :)
Yes. Dr. Fetus, Meat Boy, Bandaid Girl, a Saw, and a in giant lettering WARRPPPZONNNEEE in stickers would make it an instant-buy. Possibly the squirrel and a regular bandaid.
It's evident that everyone loves unlockables. The game is absolutely great but the driving force between you and a full complete... is that achievement and meat ninja. It's evidence that yes, you ARE awesome.
There are certain things that are equally amazing when compared to getting several bandages and those achievements are the no-death runs. Wouldn't it be cool if you were rewarded with a purely cosmetic skin if you were to finish one?
Wood Boy = Wood skinned Meatboy w/ Green Ooze trail Needle Boy = Grey skinned Meatboy w/ Purple trail [?] Brimstone Boy = Flaming red Meaboy w/ Fire trail Etc.
Overall it would be 14 skins.
Of course this may take awhile and I'm not sure if Team Meat would even want to do such a thing but I always thought it would be a cool idea.
Someone needs to write up some Meat Boy lore hah. He does seem to have a race apparently and Dr.Fetus can't just hate Meat Boy for absolutely no reason.
tl;dr. Should have just made a post linking to the game and proceed to not care.
Also, any game which is based on multiplayer is a game I refuse to play.
I can assume because of ill-mannered players but really? A lot of my favorite games are multiplayer because I can play with my friends and I love the competitive nature of things.
I play League on a daily basis, It's probably one of my 'main' games as of currently. Favorite is Corki and Kennen.
The thing that really grinds my gears is on-launch DLC. Like really? At least be sneaky about it and release DLC later like you were 'working' on it. They don't even care that players know they didn't release the game at full capacity.
That's why I have been buying a lot of Indie games recently, they don't have the luxury of releasing a half assed game because no one will take a second look at an unfinished game that isn't released by a huge company with a ridiculous budget.
I salute you Team Meat, stay true to the gaming nature.
