64-bit windows vista
NVidia Geforce 8800gt
4 cores
8 gigs ram

Steam would not let me purchase it for 2 days straight, for no good reason other than there app-store is messed up (I discovered this through relentless googling that too)

And I'm not going to bother to ask anyone on how to get a patch installed from direct 2 drive. It's not on there patch list, I don't know if they sold me this version up-to-date or not.

My system is 8800GT quad-core windows vista

Again, if it was a performance issue I could handle it, but I'm convinced it is the game. I also tried forcing v sync off / on.

[Unbelievably annoying]

Okay so my problem which as I've discovered is not uncommon. Every 4 seconds about, the game stutters. This is Unbelievably annoying. I've gotten as far as the boss for the hospital world, but I can't beat it.

Now, I downloaded via direct2drive, NOT Steam

- I read the post about doing the -windowed -1024x738 -lowdetail, it DOES NOT HELP
- My system can run most games on high detail, and I've tried lowering the resolution to 800X600
- The game version is 1.0 if that helps

It is not my video card, my drivers are up to date, so is DirectX

PLEASE HELP I bought this game last night this is so frustrating
