Really enjoyed this compilation. Some of the finest meat boy speed running I have ever witnessed.

It makes me want to keep playing / trying but I just can't seem to get into the swing of things anymore.

Farewell Super Meat World.. I barely knew ye.

Reading that killed any hope that the level portal would ever be decent.

Just to note, the only people left playing super meat boy are some of the most hardcore people out there. So I say bring on the hard levels.

I will be trying these out later, will edit in my own thoughts.

Edit; Like two hacks said they really don't have much going on design wise, I couldn't be bothered to put a ton of effort into making my levels look pretty either but a quick way around this is solid colors and some decent tile 6 usage.

Most of them are way too long.

5-3 was a standout for me, very cool level.

I always had a feeling that was possible I just never managed to pull it off myself, good job as always.

I can't believe my 3-7 has been beaten, that shit was near-perfect... I landed right in the passage.

Good job 73L.

Still working on 3-16x ... it is an infuriating level to do consistently.

That was a regular run, waiting for the saws to get the fuck outta the way. I almost managed 10.20 yesterday but the dumb yellow star slid past the opening and into salt

got that after a few tries, not nearly close to even being a good run, i emssed up coming back and slide down the wall to b girl by accident , under 11 and possibly beating Naija WR going to be possible

12 is good, I could probably beat my Naija score for now

I've envisioned this level for a long time but I have never managed to do it in an actual run, I can do segments of it ala devmode but doing the whole thing requires this ridiculous luck.

You can run ahead at the start, get to the pillar in the middle and jump through the saws, then you have to jump through them again to get over to the key, and slide down a little piece of wall to jump back over to the middle segment with the hallways(have to slide down a little to avoid the saw wall coming at you , no other way to do it). Like I said, ridiculous, but possible.

For some reason, beating a level feels more fulfilling when you get the little bandage girl icon on the bottom left.

so true, I get all giddy when I see a save icon and I button mash to see how much time I got rid of

The kid makes ogmo completely obsolete when you unlock him.

Ogmo is much, MUCH less versatile--when it comes to jumping, and double jumping.

They both do the same thing, but ogmo does it poorly. There is virtually no significant difference though, just jumping length / height / fluidity. Major uses include easier A+ completion , incredible usefulness in no-death run achievements, basic speed running.

How much do you think Naija can take on this level? /dethroned

Could be awesome.

The definitive meat boy speed running video, maybe 73L and you could pool replays? I could probably throw in my 5-15 and 3-7's since I think those are the only world records I hold still.

showcasing the craziest levels and routes perhaps? I noticed many in that video are mostly from HELL world. Don't get me wrong though I'm just nitpicking here, you do good work.

Edit: you did record your runs live though, I think I like watching the trials and tribulations of people dying a million times to get an awesome record, haha.

I enjoyed it, but honestly.

There are enough Naija compilations out there, it is not the most amazing thing anymore to view what she is capable of.

Awesome records as always though.  +1
