Probably levels from starlight , some of them are bit detail crazy.

It seems like you guys are getting the best of super meat world (funny, because all of these chapters were created before the official level editor was released, including cramps and remnants)

It almost makes the steam version obsolete, best of the best and leaderboards = win?

Noted!   Meat Boy

Thanks for saying something though, since I have more free-time I'm thinking about making another set of new-levels in hopes of being more balanced in difficulty curve.

On a side note, I honestly didn't think yellowjacket was the hardest in the bunch. Coming off the main game the player just never sees anything like what I did with the first part of the level. I implemented a lot of awkward jumps in the whole chapter on purpose because this games physics engine is truly versatile. There is still so much to be done / explored.

My half-chapter is exactly the same thing,it was / is also featured. All half stars or 1 star ratings. I'm thinking the rating system is completely screwed up.

My levels aren't mind blowing but they are better than 85% of all the other garbage no-effort levels on the portal.

I don't think Team Meat will go through the trouble of deleting the chapter off the portal as I've heard it is a pain.

It will just be taken off of the front page (featured) eventually.
35  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: No-death achievements! Let's help each other to get them! on: January 01, 2012, 06:23:54 PM
I was wrong with Demon Boy, it was easy as hell!

I see what you did there ;) Congratz btw :P

I'm thinking about getting that Zombie Boy achievement, but everytime I enter dark Rapture I puke all over the room. I hate that chapter so much :P

I thought you got all the achievements bullex? I guess I was mistaken.

Anyways I forgot what I stopped with, I think all I have left is dark hell dark rapture and both cotton allies.

Not sure if I want to bother with the cotton ally achievements - ever. But as far as dark rapture and hell go, they are fair game. I only used meat boy to get all the other no-death run achievements but that is going out the window for these.

Were they too hard? I really should have uploaded them all prior to uploading the chapter, just for testing and tweaking.

I also ended up sort of rushing thank you because I wanted to just get it out of the way, I think it is obvious because it is easily the most unfair of the bunch. Plus I would change that green if I had the chance, and fix the foreground black on the blocks, that looks a bit ugly.

Anyways did anyone beat them all? I think one to six needed tweaking as well , a couple solid blocks over the start instead of crumblings , you can't get back up there if you break the first 3

I'd really like to make another chapter but this laptop is so limited ( that's why my levels look like legos)

Aww sheeyit, for real? Is there an article somewhere?
38  Super Meat Boy / Level Showcase / Re: Zero Hour *UPLOADED* on: December 22, 2011, 02:14:03 PM
Thanks for the feedback.

I wanted to work on them more but I just couldn't find the motivation to keep testing and tweaking, and that is what really needs to be done.

Anyways glad you enjoyed it regardless!
39  Super Meat Boy / Meat Helping / Re: Should I buy Super Meat Boy for the xbox 360? on: December 21, 2011, 10:34:24 PM
You just missed the huge xbox sale too I think, it was for the anniversary, I think. It was something like 4 dollars, oh well.

I think I would pick up the xbox version too because of the leader boards and spelunky.

I just played up to 17, they are enjoyable levels. Well done. Meat Boy Will finish the other 3 later.

I enjoy making people wall jump off 1 space blocks too.

Do you have a gallery of previews up somewhere or am I blind?

Are you still working on these? I've played First of All and really enjoyed it.(I think it was featured?)

43  Super Meat Boy / Level Showcase / Re: Zero Hour (WIP 9/20) on: December 18, 2011, 11:16:14 PM
Yeah... but the slope looks... I really wanted it to look like that but from the few people I have heard from say some of them look too .... "empty"

Difficulty is sort of all over the place. I think it is just me though because as soon as Ed featured Stepping Stones it shot up to like 3 and a half saws difficulty.

Need to go back into my first 3 levels and add more detail, they aren't as appealing as the ones I have been doing. (Damn you skill progression!)

It's interesting to see the xbox player list, I actually knew of a few of them from Splosion man, the speed run scene was not nearly as competitive but bruiscypher was #1 on there too. (I used to be #11 or something)

If I ever get another xbox I will definitely be re buying meat boy and jumping in myself.
