I believe it was in my effort to get Impossible Boy I managed, somehow, to forget one level.  I got 19 of them done thinking I was done.  I had to try to remember which one I forgot.  I thought it was Curls... and subsequently died.

I was definitely not amused -.-
2  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: No-death achievements! Let's help each other to get them! on: April 11, 2011, 09:26:52 PM

If it didn't yield the actual achievement, I'd call it a good laugh.  OK, it's still pretty funny, but now I'm a little more suspicious of anyone that doesn't have video proof of the achievement >.>

Beat the entire game with Headcrab.

I've been working on this.  So far 3-7, 5-10, and 2-2X seem impossible...

It'd also be cool if the meatboy only chapters were released for play with all characters (possibly via the level portal).

2-1x with headcrab is also impossible.

Oh jeez, I meant just 1-2X.  2-2X is totally feasible.  I edited the original post!

Anyone else working on the ARG thing?

I got the second set of numbers to translate to something... but the first set still doesn't work.  :-/.

I personally would like to see the expert remix simply called "expert boy".  Heh.  I might try some of these.  But my motivation for games drops dramatically after I get all the official achievements :-/.

Then begin by the later levels and finish by the first ones.

This is pretty much correct.  If you start with the levels you consider difficult then you should be OK.  This works because that drop in skill you experience from nervousness will more heavily effect levels that you consider difficult.

In my experience, placing levels that you pass 70% of the time at the end of a run can drop it pass percentage to 40-50%.  This is opposed to placing a level you pass 95% of the time and having it drop to a 90% pass rate.

So yeah, pretty much, abusing the level order is the best thing ever.  I didn't figure this out until Missile Boy :-/.

I can't get Super Meat World to work.  I get to the main menu and it does nothing.  How long is "a long loading time" anyways?  I can back out to the main menu with no problem, so it's not freezing.

Bleh.  So close!

After so much time using the controller only... LoL, invisible mouse.  It's not invisible if you run in windowed mode btw.

Yay extra levels!

Yeah, I believe that the percentage has ready 0.1% since very early on (and we have confirmed achievements back into January), so I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it just registers 0.1% as soon as someone gets it.  Maybe if two people get it.
10  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Has something like this happened to you? on: March 28, 2011, 11:33:41 AM
When I was getting the achievements, I had no problem.

But now I'm speed running a bit and there's just something about repeating the same level over and over that doesn't feel right to my game... cause it takes mini-dumps all the time now, heh.

Bleh.
11  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: super meat world should be out soon on: March 28, 2011, 11:32:17 AM
Hmm.  Whelp.  I tried to stave off thinking about the level editor via getting the achievements... then I got them all.

Maybe I should speed run and improve my times.  Too bad I only know how to use meat boy!  Ha ha.

I'm curious to see if it'll still be within March or if it'll go to April.  Who knows?  I'd love to see a funny April fools joke though.
12  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: How many hours do YOU have? on: March 28, 2011, 03:57:46 AM
96, which got me everything in the game.

Well, everything except speedrun times.  So that number could be going up...  :-D
13  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: 40 levels completed with Tofu boy. [video] on: March 25, 2011, 02:57:50 PM
Nice!  I've done about 35 of those.  The forest level you show the replay for is one I wish I could have gotten!  I'm not good enough at his quick wall jump to get it on the first try :-/
14  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Fourth video up! Super Challenge Boy - Challenge the entire SMB community! on: March 24, 2011, 02:52:35 PM
how about beat 1-9 with tofu boy? you have to use the glitch where you slide up a wall.

I almost got that :-/.

---

Also, the "Super Iron Man"

Do the game using any character you'd like (barring restricted chapters) and do this without dying.

Rules!

1) Play order must be All light worlds (SANS Cotton Alley), then CH1-CH6 Dark World, Cotton Alley Light World, Cotton Alley Dark World

2) Levels in each chapter must be done IN ORDER

3) Changing characters is allowed

4) Resetting (if you can hit pause that fast) is OK.

Record how far you get and post it here!  It's not really meant to be "completable", but it would be interesting to see how far you get!
15  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Impossible Boy Club - Now With Dates! on: March 24, 2011, 02:47:29 PM
I updated the list to add the two mentioned people.  They have steam achievement proof (even though one has the hardest no-death runs clumped together like that), so I can't do much about it at the moment.

The other cool thing I did was add dates to the names.  The dates are associated with the evidence that is linked to their name.  So if you took a long time editing your video... well, for the most part it shouldn't matter since you won't really be running into someone else's completion time.
