It's not a paradox. She simply time-travelled via WARP ZOOOOOONE after beating Cotton Alley and saved herself, and all along Meat Boy was rescuing ghost images of her. This is why she's totally unaffected by hazards.

Indie games which make it big do so because their developers care enough to listen to the community more often than not. To turn your back on what got you so far is generally a bad idea. Granted, the leaderboards may be an unadvertised bonus, but nothing should be implemented at all if it won't be proper.
So yes, 100% agreement.

Super Meat Boy / Suggestions / Re: Simple changes people would like

I found many great ideas there, keep on updating the list! Here is all my way-to-long suggestions: Idea #1: I find it anoying when you complete a warp zone, glitch or boss level you have to press space imeaditly after you complete it, if you want to be able to see the replay and save it. This is anoying in example warp zones like "The Kid" where you could get an awsome replay, but most people get to exited when they beat the first level, that they forgets. So maybe you could under setting enable if you wanted to show the replay automatic when you completed a warp zone/Boss/glitch level Idea #2: In all replays with misiles, buttons, keys, dissapearing walls... etc, you cant see the action from those objects i just said, exept from the final try. So example with the missiles, you will see a lot of meat boys just splatting out, wich isnt cool. So i suggest being able to show "ghost replay" where the other deaths would be shown with a grey/blue transparent colour, so you also could see the other missiles just different. And maybe you could enable colours for each replay, so example: one replay would have yellow missiles and a yellow meat boy, so you could see wich one was for wich replay. And then you could change focus by pressing "up" so you could see non-ghost view on another replay, waching how you failed... Idea #3: What about specefic death counter, showing how you died, example: Overall: 2311 deaths. Saws: 961. Out of screen: 433. Spikes: 211. Fireballs: 63. Seeking missiles: 52 Fans: 4. and so on, you get the point. (It should list from most deaths to least). And also show with the worlds example: Forest: 98 deaths. Dark Forest: 261 deaths. Hospital: 451 deaths... and so on. Also maybe with each level like: Forest Boss: 61. Forest Level 13 (or showing name instead): 15 .... etc. It could also show how many times you won the different levels. I Dont know if that was a too big update, but i think it would be pretty cool. If it got released you could get a message like: "Do you want to reset your death counter to get showned more preciously death detial?" Idea #4: Being able to show your fastest time on a level as a "ghost" (you know a bit transparent" so you could have more fun beating you time. Then you could maybe also send the ghost replay to a friend so he could try battle it, so it would be like a race. Sorry for writing all those long ideas, but i had to get them out of my head The sad thing is that Team Meat will probably never read this... Oh, that's odd. I could have sworn I already had ghosts down. Must've been in a different thread...

Maybe he fires missles whichever way he's facing (key you pressed last), so you can use them to gain a boost like Alien Hominid, push one way or then other, or fall faster. They could also destroy walls and traps.

Super Meat Boy / Suggestions / Re: Why no Dark World Boss?

What would be the best way to Dark World bosses, anyway? Slugger would clearly be best with a missle or sawblade launcher (or both) so you have to keep a good distance from the back of the screen and try not to pin yourself. Longer and tougher level, too.
C.H.A.D. could bounce off of walls, so no segment of map is totally safe, only a few tricky corners you can slip into to show off/desparation save.
Brownie would just need an altered level and a better performance. Or give him a fart-propelled Naija dash for the... [`;)]sh!ts and giggles.
Lil' Horn just needs to hold his attacks for longer, so there's a visible cue, but randomize his patten, so you have to pay attention.
Larries just need to have some kind of team attack, like having one jump straight up, then the other jumping in a regular arc, but bouncing off of the other airborne one to reverse direction (and shoot more maggots).

You can get another person's 106% save file and put that in for your progress back, then try to beat their times. When my harddrive destroyed itself, I borrowed a friend's and aside from losing my Dark World work, I'm fine now.

Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Fourth video up! Super Challenge Boy - Challenge the entire SMB community!

^FOREVER A'RAGING Sup all, 2nd video is up. Dr. Weird, your challenges were fun and I had to look around for a bit to find good Commander/Flywrench compatible levels. I hope I did, lol. I'm seriously considering the Headcrab Forest Dark World one, I'm just not very good at the no-death thingies. Or Headcrab. Or a combination of the two. But I'll try it for sure. Without further ado, Part Two! ClickyAnd I obviously always need more challenges, so keep 'em coming! Oh, wow. I was just joking around, but great job. I'm really surprised to see Flywrench do something useful, let alone better than Commander Video. I'll think of a sincere challenge for you next time. I'd make you do something with Josef, but he's seriously underrated. He's best used around repulsors and fans, and gets a free jump from conveyors. If you canget Squirrel Boy with Headcrab, a Josef challenge would be nothing. I wouldn't make you do something with Jill, because Jill's basically my go-to character. I had no idea she was underrated. Naija, though, has a lot of challenge potential. Especially on levels where you must precision walljump, as you'll be force to fire her into the wall at point blank and hop off mid-ascent.

Super Meat Boy / Suggestions / Re: Dr.Fetus as a character?

Dr. Fetus should have different "Styles". One is identical to Meat Boy and may even slop soemthing (darkness or fetus juice) wherever he goes, one could copy Air Brakes with his cape, one could missle launch himself like Alien Hominid or Spelunky...or maybe Fetus could just be blatantly OP and have all of these and The Kid's second Jump.
Actually, I think it'd be best with just two Dr. Fetuses: Standard and Full Power. Standard is a Meat Boy reskin and unlocked by beating the game, while Full Power would have every unfair advantage possible besides actually being invincible and extremely difficult unlock conditions (maybe Golden God), since by the time you've unlocked him, you have nothing to unfairly gain with him. One or both of them might also require a code. I'm figuring that if any new characters are implmented, it'd be after the rankings are altered to show which character was used for the best run... But then who appears at the end of the level to abduct Bandage Girl?
Make him the reward for Expert Remix, and I might actually bother doing Puberty. Honestly though, I don't like playing around with invincible characters. I think Mr Minecraft and Meat Ninja alone are invincible enough... Well, he wouldn't be invincible. Just very capable. He would still be able to die, but every now and then, it's fun to just blaze through things.
