Is there a guide to the different objects you can use and to which level type they belong to? I want to use lasers but can't find them for the Salt Factory layout. What's up with that?

For some reason I cannot play anything on Super Meat World. I mean, I have access to it, but I can't select anything. :/
Are you using your mouse?

No. You have to select them with a mouse?

Well excuuuuuuuuuuuuse me, Princess! I mean, if you're used to playing a game with a controller the ENTIRE TIME and then out of the blue you need to use a mouse without anything in Super Meat World telling you different... Yeah...

Don't be a douche.

If I can play Super Meat Boy on my Super Crappy USB controller, I doubt anything Nintendo can cook up will be worse.

Do you know anyone who's gone to the extreme to get things done?

Well, I'm glad you liked it.

And The Bridge was pretty cool. I can't get passed the part with the giant missile though. That's too cruel for medium.

So in my lurkings of this board, I have seen cries for easier custom levels.

Well never fear! Meat Power is here!

Meat Power is the name of my chapter in progress. I don't know yet how many levels I shall have, perhaps a full house. We shall see. But my goal is to make levels that aren't hard. Now, that doesn't mean they're going to be super easy either! Don't get me wrong guys. But I want to focus more on the fun factor. To me fun =/= difficulty. I'll also place bandages in some to provide a more of a challenge for those seeking difficulty. That doesn't mean those challenges will be super-hard either. I'm not the best at Super Meat Boy (just recently unlocked The Kid and haven't even completed Cotton Alley yet) and I make sure that I'm able to get the bandage myself. Every level I mention in this thread shall have been uploaded to SMW by the time you read it. And when I'm done with my levels I shall create the chapter.

I'm also new to the level design business, so don't be a bastard.

That being said, please enjoy my levels!

- Blizz

1. No Fly Zone

I originally wanted to make a chapter called Hunt for Bin Laden, but later decided against it. No Fly Zone is a reflection of my former idea. This is my first SMB level ever and I'm quite pleased with it. It was originally harder and required more precision jumping, especially at the start of the level, but I decided to turn the difficulty down a bit.

2. Jellystone

This level was inspired by Yogi Bear. It's also the first time that I tried to play with layers. Jellystone is quite fun, is a tad harder than No Fly Zone, and provides an extra challenge for those who want the bandage. I tried around six times to get it.

This time, the picnickers have set up a defense to make sure you can't get at their food!

These levels can be found in Super Meat World as individual levels. Enjoy!

How the hell do you delete objects?

EDIT: Nevermind.

I need to learn to not be so quick to ask dumb questions.

Haters gonna hate.

Hahahaha.

Didn't they say he was dead last year?

And then a few years before that too?

What the frak? Why is it so hard for people to stay on topic around here?
26  General Stuff / Video Games! / Re: Meat Boy, Project Cafe, and YOU. on: May 04, 2011, 02:44:54 PM
No, it's a thread for discussin Project Cafe. We already have a thread for what Team Meat will do with the game or new games on future consoles, Nintendo or otherwise.

So that means you can hijack my thread? You could always merge this with that thread. I didn't know any better.

Once again, this thread isn't to complain about Project Cafe (or praise it). But to discuss the possibilities of Super Meat Boy coming out for it. Kindly respect the wishes of the thread starter or fuck off.

Maybe you fail to see the relevance,

I did, because you failed to mention the relevance in your own post.

but I was saying that Project Café is probably not suitable for Super Meat Boy because
a) there's too much speculation about it, ergo it's impossible to develop anything for it for the coming months

That's not a reason at all. In fact, Team Meat could take advantage of this and sell a lot.

b) the controller will most likely not have a conventional shape or function, which makes playing SMB inconvenient.

I highly doubt the controller will be a reason. And if so, I hear the console will be compatible with the Wii remote, which rocks. Playing SMB with the Wiimote is awesome.

Right, I just found out. Sorry.

Hey, can you see my new thread about bugs? I need some help.
28  Super Meat Boy / Help! / Some Bugs... on: May 04, 2011, 06:01:11 AM
First off, I really love the level editor and plan to crank out a chapter very soon! And I shall use this thread to post any bugs I come across.

Well, I found one that is really frustrating me.

When I place Bandage Girl down, she's huge! And so is Dr. Fetus when he comes to claim her. But when I resize her and try out again, some weird shit happens. First, Bandage Girl doesn't stay put and seems to float around. Next, I find myself immune to mini buzzsaw launcher attacks.

What the frak?

How do you place Bandage Girl?
30  Super Meat Boy / Level Editing / Re: Beta Level Editor is up! on: May 04, 2011, 04:18:33 AM
This is fucking awesome guys!

Just one question though. Is there a way to turn on some sort of grid mode so I can better see where I'm placing my squares?
