I just watched the movie, and I think it is freaking amazing. Really inspiring and touching, it gives an amazing insight of how it is making a game like Super Meat Boy. Have you seen it, and what did you think of it?

EDIT: Why was this moved away from the category "Meat Talk"? The desciption says "talk about anything Super Meat Boy related", and half of the movie is about the development of Super Meat Boy, so I would say that it is pretty much related... 

I always used a keyboard, but got a controller recently. Honestly, I don't think it's that much better, defintly a bit, but I don't think it's a big difference

I use keyboard. Yup, nearly 200 hours of gameplay in Super Meat Boy, using a keyboard. I actually don't see it as a problem, although sometimes my little finger hurts of holding down shift  I know that one of the really good SMB players "OTDq" also uses keyboard http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jPn6zQWsAg But I am planning to buy an xbox controller though, since I think I have 4 games that recommends using a controller

I have this youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/theSuperMeatMan?feature=mhee where I upload gaming stuff and I want to start a new serie: "Let's Race Super Meat Boy"

In every episode we will be 4 players racing against each other in Super Meat Boy, seing who is able to beat the game at any % fastest.

In order to participate you must:

record your speed run, when we race. You don't have to livestream it when we actually do the race, but when editing the video, I will need all four players screens for each corner.

I will need a presentation of each player, so send me a video about 30 secounds long, filming you (if you are uncomfortable showing your face, voice-only is aceptable) where you answer some of these questions: who are you? (if you have a youtube channel, or is famous for something in the SMB community, let the people know!) What are you experiences with Super Meat Boy? Do you think you can win/how do you predict the race will go? and feel free to add something else you think might be interesting, for the watchers to know.

When I collected all the recordings, and setted it up, I will add some commentary to the race. It would be nice if at least one of the participants also commentates with me, we can do that over skype.

I plan to do these episodes probably once a month, and the winners of earlier races might be asked if they want to join in for future episodes in a "winners VS winners" special or something.

Anyway, if you are interested, simply leave me a comment in this thread or a private mesage to my youtube account (also tell me a litle about your SMB experiences), and I'll let you know wich episode you can be with in, and we'll find a date and time where all 4 players have the time to do it!

Awsome! :) We just need a couple of more players then :) One of my steam friends is probably fresh a bit later tonight. If you have some friends who play SMB as well, try ask if they want to race. Anyway, I write again when I find some more players

I was wondering if anybody wanna do a Super Meat Boy race tonight? :)
Information: Everybody livestream their super meat boy game, and then we see who can run through the game quickest on any % (any % means that you have to complete at least 17 out of the 20 levels + boss in each world, and the end + boss, but no dark worlds or bandages)
If your interested leave a message and we'll figure something out, we probably need to be 4 players to make it really fun! :) If you have any questions, just ask.
