What we're seeing is actually a cliff with two stalactites on the left side. There's a floating platform on the right side. The dots represent interaction points with our character, probably something similar to a grappling hook mechanic of some sort?

Whatever, doesn't look like much yet, but I'm curious anyway.

Perhaps Edmund has eaten Mare & Raigan and is doing Robotology now.

-Hell/Purgatory: After Sheol. Little Horn should be in Hell with the Satan boss.

Sheol is the land of the dead, the underworld.  During that time there was no purgatory/heaven/hell concept.  They wouldn't go together well.

The background of that first level leaves me amazed.

The last level I really have left is skyscraper.  I can only play it a few times before I have to do something else.

Yeah, probably this will not happen.  Most likely, levels will continue to be made character specific.

I dunno, I'd rather not have everything stored on the cloud, seeing how touchy it can be sometimes.

Question: How do you create the rising/falling lava, such as in the Hell levels?
