Would Ogmo count for those Kid levels xD? I'm too impatient to get The Kid (though I could've if I didnt spend 6 weeks playing Minecraft) I'm looking to get the dark world achievements first for teh lulz (and to actually improve my skills).
4-1x: to make it across the first gap, you'll have to wall jump to the overhanging square above where you start. Otherwise he's fine. Josef can actually make the gap with his robo-spin and do the required double jump under the moving saw by walking off the edge (extra double jump trick). Captain Viridian is also a choice for this level; just remember the spot on the ceiling where he can drop safely between the saws. 4-2x: Ogmo's a little slow to keep up with the platforms when you're trying to play it safe, he'll probably either need to wait for another platform or take a speedrunning shortcut under a saw and up a wall. Captain Viridian can take the high road and just walk most of the way on the ceiling. Does it take a while? Yeah, but it's pretty safe. 4-5x: I've beaten this level before with Ogmo, but it was neither safe nor easy. You'd be better off with Meat Boy, I think. 4-6x: The safe route is basically the same jump puzzle as was in Ogmo's warp zone, so of course he can do it. You'll just need the full height of your jump to catch the edge of the wall. 4-9x: Ogmo can handle it but Viridian is even safer here since the point of using the Kid was to skip some saws (which Ogmo can't but Viridian can). 4-11x: Ogmo serves the same role as the Kid, but Viridian is the safest choice.

Go around counter-clockwise to get the key on top just like you did in the light world version. But instead of dropping all the way down the shaft with the other key, slide far enough down to grab it and then quickly wall jump up and out to grab the key before it falls all the way through the floor. Continue going clockwise for the rest of the keys.

Also, for the character warp zones, instead of doing the normal warp zone characters, I was thinking of giving the bandage characters a shot to be "unlocked" via a 3 level test of their skills.
Tofu Boy warp zone I don't know how I feel about the difficulty you guys intend for this project, but I look forward to seeing how different creators will handle the difficulty curve. Just remember: long ≠ difficult. e_e; There's a reason The End only had five levels; don't lose sight of the fun factor.

There's also things like signatures, avatars, etc. Should big animated avatars be okay, or should there be limits on stuff like that?
I am going to agree on this one. Although I was one of the first to use an animated gif as an avatar, I can see how distracting animated gifs are in both avatars and signatures, especially when multiple people have them and post consecutively. As such, I have changed my avatar to be non-animated, and I hope others will follow suit. I don't mind an animated avatar since there is a size restriction, but I agree the signatures are a bit much.

You can easily finish it in under 11 seconds with Flywrench.
I'll warn you, though, you might want to just keep trying to A+ with Meat Boy because if you're having trouble with 5-5 you're not going to like 5-5x.

Ugh...This glitch also happens sometimes when you sprint when playing as Runman. Guess I should just slow down abit... OK, I'm glad that happened to someone else too, I thought I was just going crazy.

??? I really didn't like The End all that much since the levels felt really too long to me. Actually I still haven't even finished The End because the levels get on my nerves so much, derp.
I probably enjoyed Cotton Alley the most. Even though the levels were hard, most of them were also a lot of fun (don't even bring up XOXO, please, there's a reason I said most of the levels).
I just wish it had some different music for the dark world version.

The ~70 seconds seems plausible as the amount of time I took on the warp zones, but why wouldn't they have shown up on any of my previous checks? This is just speculation, but I know that I have strange issues with warp zones and leaderboard times on the PC version. There was a thread about that here. Sometimes when I re-do warpzones the game seems to deduct the time, and sometimes it adds it on. e_e; Something like that could be happening to you. :\

Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Have you unlocked The Kid?

I got him a while back. I thought level 1 was the hardest by far. Levels 2 and 3 were about equally simple, with 3 being a little hard to pull off because by the time I got there I was sick of his levels (and spacebar lag durrr) but I finished it a little faster since... it's just an altogether fast level.
Level 1: practice dem jumps. I fooled around in this one a little each day for a while before I sat down to beat it once and for all. I unlocked it first thing I did going into rapture, but completed it after unlocking The End (and I always challenge bosses after doing both light and dark worlds). My advice: keep your cool and run off the edge instead of jumping at first, I found it a lot easier (and honestly 90% of my deaths were at that obnoxious first drop, it got easier from there since you can get into a rhythm).
Level 2: this one makes people rage for some reason, but it's not too bad. Getting down the first shaft is really simple. I timed my movements into a three-count, so I moved left/right like this: 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3... But instead of counting it by three, I only said 1 and 2. Therefore, it's: 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2...
That's because the first shaft up is on a 2-count, so using the same rhythm I move 1, 2, 1, 2. By doing this I could get up the second shaft pretty consistently. The biggest problem is getting too excited and losing the beat.
Level 3: You're almost there, just stop being on the floor. I suggest making as high a (single) jump as you can and use the double jump just before you'd get hit. It's more reliable than just jumping to the safe spots on the ceiling since you won't be jumping prematurely.
Hope that helps anyone.
