UGH. Team Meat tried this in the game, and it completely sucked and wasn't fun.
This. Plus, I think you guys wanting this should check out N+ because they have multiplayer similar to what you want.

Super Meat Boy / Meat Helping / Sales Figures?
|
on: January 23, 2011, 02:01:04 PM

Have there been any sales figures released about Super Meat Boy? Such as how many units sold or how much money this game has made? I'm very interested in knowing the Edmund and Tommy are getting some payment they deserve for their hard work and hopefully can use that money to make more great games.

General Stuff / Video Games! / Most Anticipated for 2011

What are your most anticipated games for the year?
Mine are LA Noire, Batman: Arkham City, Portal 2, and Gears of War 3. I also am interested in to a lesser degree Rage, Brink, Bulletstorm, Elder Scrolls V, Ms. Splosion' Man, and Battleblock Theater.
No matter what your taste, I think this is going to be an amazing year for gaming and probably much better than 2010 which I thought overall was a disappointing year.

General Stuff / General Discussion / Re: Team Meat - Doing It Right For the Customer

I think that's why indie devs are going to become more popular in the upcoming years. A lot of people want to build games, but don't want to wade through all the bullshit to get it to the general public. Thanks to games like Super Meat Boy, I've regained my desire to create games again, and I hope that this is a mentality shared by many would-be developers.
Hell, maybe if Indie ames continue to have more and more quality over AAA games then big companies will be forced to put effort into polishing their games.

Super Meat Boy / Level Editing / Re: The End/Cotton Ally

It would be pretty awesome if someone remade the end and cotton alley so all characters can be used on them. Just saying ;)
You sir are a genius. I'm too lazy to do it, but I know there are people who definitely would. I challenge them.

Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Have you unlocked The Kid?

Took me about 2 hours too. The levels were hard, but the most frustration came from making good progress and then seemingly losing all my previously acquired skill at the level and dying at the start over and over.
Stage 2 jewed me over with the timing so much.. but Stage 3 was kind of easy compared to the rest.
Also, I don't get why so many people rant on this so much.. I mean, Chapter 5 Dark World and Cotton Alley (and the last Chapter 3 Dark World) frustrate me MUCH MORE than The Kid's warpzone. Much much much much much more. I never did all the levels in Ch5 Dark world and I have only beaten like 5 Cotton Alley levels (without A+s)
:O
I agree, I'll never be able to beat the Dark World Cotton Alley, but something about 3 hard levels in a row sort of gets to people, you know? It's like a marathon. I think it took me a little under 3 hours.
