I wish I knew what the next games would be.
34  General Stuff / Video Games! / Humble Indie Bundle 3 on: July 28, 2011, 04:44:33 PM
This pack of games came out in April, and have 12 days left.

The HIB is a charity event in which 5 indie games are put up at a name-your-own-price. These games consist of:

VVVVVV: Terry Cavanagh's hit platformer where hitting space makes you flip your gravity.

And Yet It Moves: This arty platformer has you not changing gravity, but which way is down.

Crayon Physics Deluxe: The object of this game is to get the ball to the star, and you draw objects to get it there.

Hammerfight: A peculiar game (can't find the genre) where you fly a steampunk ship in a circular fashion to swing the physics based mace/blade attached to it.

Cogs: This game is a slider puzzle game where you move around both gears and steampipes.

This is the place to discuss the HIB3!

Then you are shit outta luck. if you want the 72 track edition, you have to buy the CD.

Minecraft has had a mod that gained tons of steam, and that mod is The Aether. Basically it's the anti-Nether. You make a portal out of glowstone and a bucket of water, and you will go the the Aether.

It just got released and I have to say I love it, but it has many problems. This build has a pretty much required inventory modder like TooManyItems. Diamond tools are crap in the Aether so it's a setup to start anew. you can saddle flying pigs, but you only have one jump and a float down. You are tasked with finding and following the large peaceful Moas. Once they lay an egg, grab it and pop it in an incubator and wait for it to pop out a baby Moa. feed it poisonous Aechor Leaves to make it grow.

ENEMIES:
Zephyrs: These floating rectangular cloud things shoot ice balls at you and push you off islands.

Swets: These reskinned Slimes come in Blue and Gold versions. Blue ones jump on your head and ride you around while choking you, and Gold ones will pop you up into the air at first touch.

Cockatrice: These Moa-lookalikes come out when you get to the closest thing to night.

Sentries: These are the guardians of the Bronze dungeon and explode on contact.

Block with an eve?: The Bronze boss, he can only be hurt with a pick.

Valkries: These winged people are the guardians of the Silver dungeon, and are a neutral mob. However the medallions they drop are required for fighting the boss.

Valkrie Queen: The boss of the Silver Dungeon. Killed by any means.

Sun spirit: Gold dungeon boss. Lights you on fire at a touch, and he shoots lava balls, then an ice ball. Invincible by any other means then reflection. When he is killed, night is possible to fall in the Aether.

There's far too much to explain here. I'll just post the link to this mod.

I bought the special edition, and it also gives you a digital version to download, then they send you the CD.

Hope it helped!

So all this shit is legal in United States, but Kinder eggs are banned because seven children eat the plastic and died.

I don't want to go with "America is full of retard stuff" but... it really needs a big change.
Yup. Living in the US, it really needs a change. America is full of idiots.

oh, and US? The reason other countries think that your people are fat is because they are right.

I first heard about this on a Escapist thread about the bomb. A while later, it had been updated to include the subsequent shooting.

That link when copy pasted into my address bar just takes me to the homepage. What are the catergories to the game? When I look up Super Bulldozer Adventure on Steam it doesn't show up. Any help?
42  General Stuff / Video Games! / Re: Borderlands on: July 13, 2011, 02:02:16 PM
I have bought this game but i haven't played it yet, is it an open world game (free roam)?
The game world is huge, with buttons in different places to send you  to the next area.

The game is boring until halfway through when you fight something other than the local fauna and bandits. VAULT GUARDERS AND CRIMSON LANCE FTW.

^That. Huge bit of a step up in difficulty, too. Make sure you rob all the bandits' weapon chests and buy new ones regularly, because you are going to need them.
I wish I had a picture of my face when I saw that Crimson Engies drop Scorpion Turrets. I dislike that Eridian weapons only recharge when you have them out. Old Haven took me about an hour and a half.

Ohmaigawd, SUPER BULLDOZER ADVENTURE! Feel the power of the bulldozer.
I heard that you can get a hat for TF2 with this game. Is that true? and if yes, how? Is it even on Steam.
It is.
I can't find it
45  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: What's is your favorite level and why ? on: July 11, 2011, 05:09:06 PM
3-11 and 3-11x by far. I have no idea why. I just love these levels.
