I scored 25,36 yesterday on 6-2x :

I had the world record for a long time, before Exo scored 25,39 and Telesniper 24,94.
Well, i'm still Xbox #2. :)

The run was nearly perfect. Who's still playing ? 73L are you there ?  

Also, could someone tell me if there really are some mechanics differences between the two versions (PC - Xbox) implying that times on both versions aren't really comparable ? That's what Exo tells me.

Considering that Team Meat is working on a new game and that Super Meat World does no longer accept further level uploads, I really doubt we'll see new chapters on the PC, let alone on the Xbox 360.

Oh man, that's sad, considering that there still are some empty slots and that i wished for some more of the best Meat World's chapters (Kid Xmas chapter for instance or the one that is about The Forest, but harder). In the meantime, all good things have to come to an end... Moreover, on the ground of SMB, i would always want more than i what i actually get ;-)

Precision required for an optimum pace on 7-20x is very challenging to my opinion.
Precision, skill and breathtaking rythm for a 22 sec run on Ping (Expert Remix) also.

But it's a difficult question as i haven't speedran most of the levels to an excellence.

Choffidge, i began my redux of the main game days ago. I had to stop for professionnal reasons but i'll continue ASAP.
I still had time to redux the first 2 chapters, with a few world record times (with Spelunky). Well, there are still some levels for great improvements but i won't spend too much time on it (i'll return to those levels eventually, once i'll have the whole game replayed).

 I still have at least chapters 3, 4 and 5 to redux that i haven't played in years ! And i still have some goals for the last chapters (Cotton Alley mainly).

For all my times and/or Telesniper's on Teh Internet levels, just ask and i'll send you the table.


PS: does anyone know if there are more new Teh Internet chapters to come ?

Takuji, i don't see the use of a turbo button for Meat Boy runs... But i'm sure that he doesn't use turbo : Telesniper plays with a regular Xbox pad, as i do.

Furthermore, i recently learnt about some slight difference between both versions. Afaik, there are just a few levels that attest of that difference. According to Exo, 6-2 is one of them. But still, Telesniper's 20,20 (or 20,25, not sure) run is faster than Exo's run if it was on Xbox as he's sharpest than him.
Besides that 6-2 case, i really don't have a clue of what differences you're talking about dude...

Yes, TunnelingEffect, in my opinion, he's the best player on Xbox, and he's even the best SMB player, briefly.
That's only part of what he achieved. On the 160 Teh Internet levels, he's at 1333 seconds currently and that's INCREDIBLE. He managed to score a near perfect time on almost all of the 100 first levels and did a very good job (in no time...) on the 3 last chapters as well.
He broke my time on Compulsion (Remnants), Puberty (Expert Remix), Doppelgänger (Expert R.), Ping (Expet R.), Speck (Expert R.), etc., on every level i like. I'm still number 2 and 40 or 50 seconds ahead of Yozima, but that Guy, Telesniper, is just made of something else. Very humble player too, part of his charm ;-)

My eyes still can't believe it.
Exo and myself had the 2 best records : 22,39 and 22,54, which are just blown out by a magician !

I would be in, if i had only the game on my Mac.

I won't play before a certain time though. Want to get my time under 925 at least for the 100 first levels first. (Will be hard to catch number 1, Telesniper, as he manages to use Pink's special jump, whereas i can't skyrocket twice in a row, and i never used him on the main game either. For that, i have at least 7 seconds i couldn't catch on Remnant, impossible chronos to equal with any other char than Pink Knight.)

I confirm what TunnelingEffect said : the game was in promo for 400 MS points and for a week. Anyway, 400 ou 1200 points for such a game, i don't see that much of a difference.  

With all due respect to my follow colleagues :
the game is VERY WELL responsive.
The A button doesn't need any harsh push.
And i've played dozens and dozens and dozens of video games, here and there, consoles and PC, and have played hundreds of hours SMB.
With a bad responsive game and bad buttons i wouldn't have some of the best world times. I don't think so.
