Well no, Demon Maws are rather easy to predict, well, it get's busy when there are a lot of them, yes, because of the small ones and all...
But I hate those.. "flies"? The big red thingys that chase you down and bite you to death?
I cannot predict them really good because there speed changes so much, works with acceleration and all that.
Man...
And also, if you happen to be lucky to get them out of range; look at them. They move slowly towards you.
The most uncomforting level from Cotton Alley was the one where you wait for the key to unlock everything and have to dodge like a dozen of those "flies"

But is there a definite no from Team Meat about the Wii version?
Is it really dead?

Girl problems.

And I almost thought I'd be the only one...

Dreaming you found the perfect one, waking up and the whole day is like a saw.

Thanks Suyo!!
Those simple ones are hella rad!

Also for the screencap pro's:
How about some screencaps from warp zone levels that were only one screen big?
That would be awesome!
6  General Stuff / General Discussion / Re: Religion on: February 07, 2011, 04:21:59 AM
Religion is false, it provides no answers, empty threats and ill-thought out rewards. It is also cyclical. Religions constantly rise and fall. Modern Abrahamic religions (Christianity among them) have been around for about 2,000 years - only 1% of our entire existence as a species - and will vanish in time as all others invariably do, to be regarded by future generations in the same way we do the followers Zeus.

Meanwhile science marches on impassively, bringing genuine enlightenment and reduction of suffering through technology.

It's quite the thing. From my perspective I think religion came up to answer questions that knowledge couln't answer. Where do lightnings come from, why do people get diseases and so on.

But I think some parts of some religions at some point came up due to people knowing that people follow religions almost blindly, so they use religion to manipulate the people.
7  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Why so bothered about lack of Wii version? on: February 06, 2011, 09:51:21 AM
I want the Wii version for the controls, yes, extra characters, yes. And also:
The thing I am online with is a laptop, a shitty one that is. I don't lag Minesweeper though. But it starts to lag on ANYTHING when it's powered above 3 to 4 hours. So what I am saying is I couldn't play SMB on a weekend session for longer then around 3 hours.
The only thing I got else is the Wii.

Also there is the thing of playing SMB while having the computer running and be chatting and stuff.
My Laptop will lag if I have any program open besides the game.
So if I only run that game and nothing else, it will lag after 3 hours.
I am very limited with that, you see?

Also it's just preference, I have all those oldschool games downloaded on the Wii and you know, havin' an evenin' playin' with friends, chillin' in front of the Wii (on a big TV screen btw and not my tiny laptop screen (another reason for Wii version)) you wanna play some games and then you go "you played super Meat Boy yet?" and they go "oooooooooooooooohhhhhhhh!!" and then you get your laptop.............

So yeah, I would have to buy a controller too or get fancy with the program someone posted above and get my Wiimote running on my PC without real knowledge in doing things like that.

So yeah.

Shower~~

How would you fight a zombie if you only had paper as a weapon? (the rule applies that you cannot get too close to him, otherwise he'll bite you and you'd turn into one of them)
9  General Stuff / Forum Games / Re: FUN GAME on: February 04, 2011, 03:17:17 PM
Pheonix Wright... any game from that franchise even?

Well I'll go with something a little harder: "We're all in it together."

Nintendo refused to let them use any of their characters.

Lame. Understandable but lame. Nintendo could fill an entire roster of secret characters and put their stamp on it. It would be epic. Free advertising is always good as well. Plus people go nuts for secret characters anyway. I bet it would sell like crazy.

Yeh.
But personally I find it better the way it is because hey, wouldn't it be kinda lame to see Mario... AGAIN? IN A JUMP'N'RUN?
Go away Caps Lock, the pocks on you.
And I think fans would consider it kinda lame if you have none hidden characters that you don't know and well... all the Nintendo ones once again.

I am more interested in all the indie ones they will pull out off their sleeves. Because they lead me to new interesting indie games.
Didn't know Spelunky before SMB and now I play it almost every day!
And that's just one example...

Quote
I remember someone saying something like that on twitter and team meat being all like, "actually no we went to them".
Oh okay..
Well then..
please come out for Wii anyways~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I later found out it was because she possessed what we will refer to as      "a warp zone" . The main motivating factor in all of mankind.

Thoughts...

So...

Did you enter her Warp Zone?

14  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Favourite Boss? on: February 04, 2011, 02:55:32 PM
C.H.A.D, Little Horn and... well the three worms were actually the only bosses who weren't a race in any way. So that is why I like them, they take the game's layout to a different level. Because every normal level is essentually a race (against the time at least).
And then I have to go with Larrys Lament, with the three worms, because they are the only boss that doesn't have a strict pattern really, you have a basic idea on how to beat him but he wont do the exact same thing everytime you try him. So you gotta stay focused and stuff..
I don't know, I found them to be the most interesting boss in the game!
