1  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Hardest level in the game? on: February 08, 2011, 11:11:03 PM
XOXO would have been my choice, but since I am not fresh off of it, I have had time to think. Though the level was tough, it was particularly only tough in one part, and it wasn't hard to figure out how to get around it. This level was pure hell though for anyone apparently getting a glitch to where it closed up faster than usual, but other than that, not the worst.

Like everyone else, I am going to have to go with The Kid 2 because of how finicky the timing was. Players had to move at a 2 different constant rhythms (1 going up and 1 going down), and if they did one thing marginally off beat, it was over. Probably not the most daunting level, but once played, it does leave bad memories.
2  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Why so bothered about lack of Wii version? on: February 07, 2011, 12:16:58 AM
Because people still spam Team Meat's Twitter and website about it constantly, and will doubtless appear here at some point. I was simply asking opinions. Anyway, this is a forum. We're here to promote debate, not stifle it.

I wasn't trying to stifle anything, but in these forums I don't see anyone complaining about not having a Wii version...well in Meat Talk that is.

And everything I posted above is being proven true as people refuse to read anything past the OP

I basically did this by responding to that one thing.

I see this and wonder, why bring it up here? Why be bothered by the fanboys so much, and why just be bothered by the Nintendo people? PS3 people know they can't get it, yet they still ask as well. I am confused why this is brought up in the first place when this forum mainly has PC/Xbox360 people.

My apologies, but I don't see why you posted this on something when there seems to be no reason for it.

I'd have to go with Brownie. Though I wouldn't call him a boss fight when compared to someone like Larries Lament, I loved the concept of what it showed. It was basically two Meat Boys racing one another. That would be something astounding to implement for an online feature for players...though it could be complicated to actually work that into this game.

Two people on one stage ready to face off on that stage. A person can dream.

As a whole, I like Chapter 4's music more, but if we were going for JUST a dark or light world then Chapter 3 Dark World takes the cake.

An artists rendition on how a G&W with features would look. Super G&W is what I think he was called or something.

I was a fan of G&W in SSBM & SSBB. Then I tried out some of the classic Game & Watch games, and all that did was make me more of a fan of the series and character himself.

Alright, that was epic. I think the topic was more prone towards LP vids of SMB.

That is what I thought it would be when I first unlocked him, but it is pretty clever to hide a slightly broken mechanic. Regardless on it being clever, I would agree with a change because he doesn't count towards leaderboards anyways.

Agreed, or at least make the window to teleport larger.

This too can work.

In a way it is, but I think 7-19X gets a lot of guff due to being more frustrating because of how restricting it gets and how pinpoint timing it gets.

Now I'm at a subpar level! :3

You are already better than 90% of people on youtube who originated on youtube.

That may be, but doesn't it get tiring for people being incompetent at games? Struggling through a game really does get painful to watch and downright irritating. I'm not saying that people should be perfect, but if something is overdone, it should be toned down and edited out once that person has gotten their idea across. It's hard, we get it, we don't need to see the rage on 1 thing for 5 minutes.

And TSP, I am a big fan of retsupurae, so that is where I was getting it from. Regardless SnakemanMn was amazing when he was one that phone!

They are orbs that shoot out pure energy that has enough force to push the character away. PURE ENERGY!

The ones in devmode take in and shoot out this PURE ENERGY!

Worst LP I've ever watched

-1 for stating the obvious
That's not obvious, it's bad, hell it's horrible, but no where near the worst LP. IWBTG LP's are trainwrecks.

IMO 7-20 is harder than 7-20X.

A lot of people think this, and I think it's because 7-20 gets progressively harder the further you get in the level while 7-20X is more or less the opposite and it gets easier the further you go into it.
15  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Favorite Guest Character on: January 28, 2011, 11:16:30 AM
because he looks awesomely funny. He may be a watered down The Kid, but he is also loads useful, and the sound effects when he jumps are sweet.
