2  Super Meat Boy / Level Showcase / Re: Eviltwinlink's Chapter in progress: Spelunky my newest level! Feedback is needed on: May 11, 2011, 06:43:47 PM
Hello! I made another level for the chapter, its titled Spelunky and its a tough one. Give it a shot and give me any feedback that you may have. You can find it by searching Spelunky in Super Meat World. I've put a ton of work into this thing today so if you find any problems by all means let me know. Thank you!
3  Super Meat Boy / Help! / How to make alternating firing saw blades. on: May 11, 2011, 11:31:32 AM
Just as the title says how do I take two saw shooters and have them shoot constantly but alternate between the two. I tried to adjust the properties for this but I can't figure it out. I'll get it where they'll shoot together at first, then alternate but then they'll shoot together again randomly.
4  Super Meat Boy / Level Editing / Re: The (Unofficial) Official Level Creators Club on: May 10, 2011, 12:19:48 PM
I'll join,
I'm currently working on my first chapter and I'm a beginner at level making for SMB.
1. Steam Name: DarkMasterCalanon
2.Maker
3. No projects completed, working on my first one however
4. Working on my first project, current progress: Completed one level, I will be creating a full 20 level chapter. I'm going to use a variety of tilesets for this chapter, I have invited my friends who own the xbox version to draw out a level if they would like it to be in the chapter, which I will give them credit for. Nearly all of the levels will be of my own creation however.
5. So far I've invested an approximate 3 or 4 hours in my first level, (mostly due to crashes or minor bugs).
5  Super Meat Boy / Level Showcase / Re: Megaton: A sneak peak level of Eviltwinlink's chapter. Feedback is needed. on: May 10, 2011, 07:44:01 AM
The background colors are nice but you didnt put much effort in making it look good other than that..
The maggots look very unreal
Id erase them and create like waves and hils to make it look normal.
The Building looks like its floating
Try adding some extra floor and stuff on the outside so it will be nicer looking.
The whole map just lacks stuff with "Z"..
Maybe ill try it again later and see if there is more.

Now as for the level it self, Id move down the gravityball (if it makes it easyer) and have only one missle launcher on the side of bandage girl, This will make the stage easyer and much more fun to people who just want to try stuff..

EDIT: Megaton hammer?
Thanks =), and I am aware of the looks of the level, I was just eager to see if people liked the level itself. I will address the difficulty of the level and the looks pretty soon. I appreciate your comments.

Edit:
I adjusted many of the things you suggested but for some reason I can't build outside of the level's perimeter. I thought I could do that but I can't which makes it difficult for me to make stuff on the outside of it.

Edit2: I made the improvements and uploaded the level again.
6  Super Meat Boy / Level Showcase / Eviltwinlink's Chapter in progress: Spelunky my newest level! Feedback is needed on: May 09, 2011, 08:42:20 PM
Hello, I recently made a level that I will be using for my chapter I am creating. This level is called Megaton and I've worked on it for quite a few hours today. After having people test it that I personally know, I would like you guys on here to try it out for me. Please leave any feedback you may have. I would like to note this level is quite difficult, but I think these forums can handle it =D.

News: I just finished a second level for the chapter: Spelunky, try it out =)

Spelunky: My newest Level

Megaton: My first level thus far.

Did you eventry to read that post that says "Read before posting questions"? I guess not.
If you're talking to me i have no clue how this got into this guy's post, i made a new topic because my problem is different than what he is posting. Now im confused why my thread fused with this one.

Hello, I recently installed steam and super meat boy on my desktop since its got a bit more power than my laptop. The game installed properly and everything but it will simply not start up. When I click to play it, steam will say launching super meat boy as usual but then nothing ever happens. I have an ATI Radeon 3000 graphics card. I also have an AMD Antlon 7550 Dual core processor. I have made sure my firewall allows steam and super meat boy to run as well. I've tried updating drivers and everything but my computer acts as if I never tried to load the game up. If this helps my monitor's resolution is set to 1024 X 768. Please help if you can, I would love to use this computer for making levels and ect.

11  Super Meat Boy / Tech Support / Re: Massive Lag spikes and ect on: February 04, 2011, 01:49:42 PM
It does run smoother in windowed mode but I really would like to play full screen without changing the graphics settings. Its weird to me that my computer can handle games like oblivion and starcraft 2 but can't handle a 2d platforming game.
12  Super Meat Boy / Tech Support / Massive Lag spikes and ect on: February 04, 2011, 01:36:04 PM
Hello, I've got some questions on whether or not I can make my game run better. Unforunately I hae to run the game on ultra low on the lowest resolution but I have no clue why my computer still has lagg spikes even though its a pretty decent computer. I can play games like oblivion to starcraft 2 on it with no problems. I expected to be able to play this on a decent resolution with the graphics unchanged but the lag spikes are horrible. Is there anything I can do to fix this? My specs for my computer are below. I do as well disable my virus scanners completly but I still get really bad random lag spikes even on the lowest of settings. I'm sure there's probably some fix i can do but idk what to do so please help :)

14  Super Meat Boy / Meat Helping / Unlocking "Teh Internet" on: February 03, 2011, 09:40:10 AM
I thought you had to have 15 bandages to unlock this but it isn't unlocked for me but it is for my friends. I have the steam version of SMB and my friends have the xbox version. Does the pc one not have it available yet or am I missing something?
