Super Meat Boy / Suggestions / Re: SUPER MEAT BOY for 3DS

I find it funny that people have such a big problem with 3D when its totally optional and won't add or detract anything from the gameplay. And to top it off nobody seems to see anything wrong with touch controls The 5 hour (tops) battery life is total bullshit though. Well the NGP has 2 hours so im not complaining. Really? That's awful...what the hell is wrong with Sony and Nintendo that they decided that portable game consoles, designed for playing while on extended trips, don't require good battery life. It seems really short sighted of them. Quick! We have to find ways to make sure they're NOT immersed in our games!

No. 3D is a gimmick...and who plays Meat Boy for less than 5 hours ongoing anyway?
As far as I know, the 5 hour estimated battery life is taken with the 3DS running at full brightness, wifi on, and 3D at full. I for one play with wifi off when not in use, and brightness around half on most portables, so I'm expecting the battery to last a little longer Still not powerful enough. Technology within batteries has come a far way since the double As we plugged into our Game Boys.

Oh, I'll play some metal shit for you from motW. Then you'll realize how diverse of a band they are.
Awesome. Should I be thinking Jeff Buckley-like in their diversity? (Listening to Grace all the way thru, I have to remind myself I'm still listening to the same album) Just the diversity of sound though, not what they actually sound like. More. It's an artistic expression which breaks all grounds and boarders to listen to maudlin of the Well. Very few bands do anything for me. This one MOVES me. For now, enjoy Close To The Edge by Yes. I shall and I am. Yes seem like a pretty awesome group, I'm normally not into uber-long tracks, but this one had kept me entertained Join the IRC dammit.

Nope. They already said that there would never be a Meat boy 2, and they had some reasons, but I totally forget them all.
They claimed that the first one was a satisfactory product and they didn't want to fuck with what was already there.

Okay, I'm finally listening in now. Mistook Quicktime for Realplayer for some reason and was getting frustrated because the codec wouldn't work, because it was for the wrong program Anyway, this Maudlin of the Well track sounds really different from the track I listened to on their site? Followed some link a couple of days ago, that track was a lot more spacey and atmospheric, kinda like Air or Explosions in the Sky I guess, whereas this is more... awesome. I think my amusement died really soon with a lot of games of which I've been getting. Heck, I can't even be bothered to install some.
