And everything I posted above is being proven true as people refuse to read anything past the OP

Sir, I have a great PC already (i7/8GBDDR3/GTX480 etc) so it makes no difference to me what you've already posted, what you said was irrelevant to my case.  My reasons for wanting a Wii version are different as I've stated.  You can connect almost any controller to a PC, but the "Wii experience" is what I want.

Besides, SMB is a great game and the more people who can enjoy it on more platforms the better.  What I don't understand is why people are somehow opposed to Meat Boy being on Wii?  There are a lot of Wii owners out there who only own a Wii (and don't want to, or don't know how to troubleshoot through this games' technical issues) so I don't see why Wii-only owners shouldn't get a shot at this game too.  Considering the fact is was announced first on Wii, and a lot was built up over the Wii version for fans.

Mainly I want it on Wii for the controls (love the Wiimote), new characters, possible level editor that goes well w/ the pointer, and it being a retail version would be beyond awesome!  Add to that it makes the Wii truly complete as the best platform for the best platformers this gen.  Meat Boy missing from that library of greatness (platformer-wise) kind of sucks.  The online component doesn't seem like it'd be out of the Wii's potential either.  Put it this way, I'd pay $50 for a Wii version w/ a few extras and a lot of others would do the same.

I'm definitely a Nintendo fan from way back, and even though I already own SMB on Steam/XBLA I still crave it on a Nintendo machine.  Also, a option between the nunchuk+Wiimote combo and Wiimote sideways would be cool too.

P.S.  Please god, do not tie any critical functions to a motion gesture.  I don't mind if Meat Boy shakes blood around when you waggle or if there's another little touch...but please no critical waggle.

Cotton Alley 7-6 "Panic Attack"!  Must be remixed, period.

If I'm not mistaken in my Ambien/Xanax haze it becomes impossible to beat levels without sprinting by 2-6...I think.  I know I passed a few levels in Chap 2 without sprinting.

^Agreed, I'd much rather a retail Wii version news as opposed to new bosses/mini-bosses.  Although I do like the idea of new bosses.  I feel like there's still so much untapped potential for boss platforming here...maybe the level editor will be the floodgate for that.
