I understand what you're saying with bosses, as only Chad and brownie can really be beaten with majorly differing times. But as for the warp zones, who really rushes through the first time? Besides: The warp zones actually already have leaderboard times, but they are buggy as HECK. When you beat a warp zone, the leaderboard time is decreased by 5, 10 or 15 seconds depending on how fast you were each of the levels (though this doesnt' apply to jills, ogmos, or the kids warp zones). Also, beating the last few warps can reset the changed warp times altogether. So even if times aren't added, the warp times need to be removed/fixed. If you don't believe me, just do a speedrun of a warpzone and check the main leaderboard, they do count, it's annoying.

(Sorry for double post, but my previous post had glitches with the reply area)
5: Warp Zone/Glitch Zone/Boss times: This would apply to character specific zones and normal zones. I have been messing with them, and some of them do affect leaderboard times by 5-15 seconds, but wondered: Why not just have times saved normally. It would work by having 3 counters, one for each level, and at the end, all the times would be added for the total. It would show the three individual times and the final one on the map screen. Same for glitch zones and boss areas, as some of them are also speed-runnable.

6: Separate leaderboard times for each character: It wouldn't be hard to add, so why not? It would add increased challenge, as some levels are incredibly hard for certain characters, like captain viridian or ogmo.

7: Super meat world player screen: A screen that shows statistics for suepr meat world. It would allow for bandages in SMW, as there could be counters for the bandages, organizing them depending on the levels difficulty, then there would eb a point to have bandages in SMW levels for extra challenge. Plus this tab would show deaths, levels beaten, world beaten etc. Lastly, it would have a tab for favorited levels and worlds, which would allow for quick access to certain worlds or levels that the player liked a lot.

1: Glitch zones should have limitless lives, make it like in syobon action where the lives just start going down though the negative numbers after 1 (3,2,1,0,-1,-2, etc)

2: Some sort of info tab in the world screen that can be opened with a cartain button. It would show overall world time, lives lost in the world, light/dark levels completed, levels aced, and how many levels have been beaten wih each character. Perhaps also showing if the iron man runs have been gotten.

3: A statistics page on the title screen that shows more then currently. It could have pages for each character (except skins). The page would have icons for each character unlocked (even ones like tofu boy), and when clicked on, it would bring you to their page. It woudl show things like levels beaten, times died, worlds beaten, overall time, world times, bandages obtained with this character (reqires ghost bandages) etc.

4: MR MINECRAFT: His ability shouldn't be breaking and making blocks, instead it should be that he can instantly break collapsing blocks, and deflect some projectiles with his pickaxe (such as sawblades or magma balls). Then he would be quite useful on some levels, and he wouldn't be game breaking.
(I'm gonna need to make another post for my other thoughts, the reply area is glitching up)

Ok, so I found this tool alled Joy to Key, which allows converting keyboard butons onto a gamepad, allowing contoller use in gamaes that don't normally have it, or for better customization of said controls. It also has a funcion for auto shooting, or fast pressing ,which spams the button (whih is useful in IWTBTG with shooting). I set it to the middle of the bar and started testing it out. It's very useful with jill, but I found something amazing with joseph. When doing the spam with joseph, he flies far into the air, but only if he is on the ground, as if he is midair, he will only do the normal robo-spin. It might be an exploit, but it could also be something that might make joseph more worthwile, speed run wise.

Yes I have, it took me about 3 hours, and eventhough it was really hard, I was only angry on levels 1 and 2. Level 3 was oddly nice. I have to say though, it was definately worth unlocking him.

The demon maws. They are really annoying in smaller spaces where the small guys seem to always get me! Though I am getting better at dodging them
12  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Worst Character? on: February 14, 2011, 09:52:53 AM
I rate the characters in usefulness, and meat ninja is probably the most useless. Sure he can teleport through traps, but nothing can actually be done with him in terms of the scoreboards ! I wish each character had their own scoreboard.. sigh....
13  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Anybody reach kid 2 and ragequit? on: February 14, 2011, 09:49:07 AM
After gettign to kid 2, I know I might never get there again, so I continued on, and after 30 minutes or so, beat it, and no lomg after, beat the kid 3 and got the kid  Meat Boy(Anyone notice the kids level says The Guy? even though its the kid?)
14  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: How many levels have you beaten with Tofu boy? on: February 08, 2011, 05:29:19 PM
I always play the level with a normal character, and evaluate wether ot would be possible with tofu boy.
15  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / How many levels have you beaten with Tofu boy? on: February 08, 2011, 04:45:52 PM
How many levels haev you beaten as Tofu Boy?
I've beaten 13:
World 1: 2, 4, 7, 15, 16,
World 2: 3, 6, 3x, 6x
World 3: 6, 19
World 4: none
World 5: 5-8

To play Tofu Boy, type "petaphile" at the character select screen

(P.S: I don't know if all of these are right, in the replays the icon for tofu boy is the same as ogmo's, but I did watch most of them)
(Also: During the replay, tofu boy will pop up as meat boy carring bandage girl)
