1  Super Meat Boy / Meat Helping / Re: Linux version - need to buy it again? on: December 23, 2011, 02:40:21 PM
I ended up trading with someone on reddit. Copy of portal for a copy of Meat Boy Linux.

Was about to pirate it. Wouldn't have felt the least bit bad either.

I've been constantly losing respect for team meat over the last year or so. First off they go on a podcast deriding linux users repeatedly calling them bearded weenie losers who'll never get a girlfriend etc, posting the same info any time the mention of linux comes up. Every time I hear them give an interview they come off as more and more of dicks who don't care about their users. I pay for all my indie games because I figure the developers appreciate their fans and community, but all I've ever heard from Team Meat comes off as entitled and unappreciative. They're completely unresponsive, I've posted this question several places and haven't received a response anywhere. Now, they scoff at people who point out massive holes in their security, allowing their level database to be unequivocally facefucked.
2  Super Meat Boy / Meat Helping / Linux version - need to buy it again? on: December 14, 2011, 03:32:03 PM
I bought meat boy on steam a while back, but I don't play it much since I need to boot into windows to do so. I'm stoked to hear there's a linux version included in the humble bundle, but meat boy is the only game I'm interested in, other than cave story which I already own.

I only have five cents in my paypal account, and I know I could buy the humble bundle for that price, but it's a dick move and I'd rather not if I can help it.

Is there any way of getting the linux version without having to buy it a second time?
