So i've read through countless threads on people unable to launch the game and none of them seem to have the same issue as me.

When I double click supermeatboy.exe the windows timer appears for a few second, it stops, and then nothing happens. No error messages, no preparing to launch messages, absolutely nothing happens.

I thought it might be to do with microsoft redistributables not being up to date but I checked and they are all up to date. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, still no luck.

Then I thought it could be firewall, so i tried running the game with windows firewall and eset turned off. Still, the timer appears for a second then nothing.

When I run the game four processes appear - two instances of 'dllhost.exe com surrogate'
                                                             'supermeatboy.exe'
                                                             'werfault.exe *32'
These processes all stop within 5 seconds of opening.

I am running windows 7 64bit and my laptop is brand new so it should be capable of playing the game without issue.
