1  Super Meat Boy / Tech Support / Re: Mac Non-Steam save files on: January 20, 2012, 08:48:22 AM
So I have bought the humble bundle and downloaded super meat boy. I used the non-steam version and I need to take my save files on to another computer. But, I can't find them? does any1 know where save files are for the mac non-steam version and if they are interchangeable with steam save files?
The steam version very wrongly inserts them inside the .app itself, here --> ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/super meat boy/SuperMeatBoy.app/Contents/MacOS/UserData

You can try to search for savegame.dat in your .app, and see if just moving it to the steam .app works.

"Report your Mac version bugs and crashes here"... so we can ignore them more easily?

Using a joypad might be better, if only it did work...

I've tried many many simple USB joypads, and none of them had the D-pad working. The buttons kind of worked, but they aren't much help if you can't move your character.

The only joypad I've seen working is one with the analog stick, where the analog stick itself did nothing, but the D-pad there worked.

I've tried to do a few random tweaks to buttonmap.cfg but it didn't help, nothing seemed to happen.

I changed the keyboard bindings, but the game is only less than half-aware of that.

2.1) It works only in-game and not in the menus, where I'm forced to switch to the arrow keys every time.
2.2) The first time you play a level, usually the run key popups the menu instead of allowing you to run — in normal levels it would not be a problem: you die and go on. However, in warpzone 2-12 "The blood shed" I can't freely die, because I'd lose a life there!

Fullscreen, even with launch options, only works as it feels like. When I'm using a secondary screen it usually work properly, however when I'm just on my laptop it will use a 4:3 resolution despite I asked for 1280x800

Starting the C.H.A.D. level was a big pain.
