As much as I hate the Demon Maws I actually went with rotating saw blades. Well, specifically the "clock" variety (one bigger but slow one and the little one connected at the same base).

One of the early Cotton Alley stages had that corridor with them and it took forever to get, I would always just hit that one spot because my timing was off. And a few other levels would always get me because I didn't account for both saws. At least with the demon heads I felt like there was only a small (but annoying) set of levels where they pissed me off.

Love the remix!

But any chance of it being on the PS3? The songs that is. I'm a PS3 gamer, I love Rock Band and (obviously) Super Meat Boy, so I want these songs :P

Wow, I guess I need to figure out how to use Naija. Nice work.

Indeed, I can't really either. Though that was originally because I was more focused on beating levels over speed-running.. but damn those videos are impressive.

Gotta go with The Kid, I loved IWBTG Meat Boy ... until the Guy Fight

Though I wish Steam had The Ninja. I loved N tremendously when it was a free download game, never bothered to get N+ ironically, but oh well.
6  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: Reset Leaderboards - Yes or No? on: February 09, 2011, 06:04:48 PM
A mass leaderboard reset means that MANY people (every person) would be losing their scores. By deleting the scores of the few cheaters, we're also deleting the scores of the many legitimate players which is doing much worse to the community than we're gaining out of it by freeing up the top 5/10/15 spots on each leaderboard taken by cheaters. I just don't think it's worth it.

However, if there is a way to properly weed out the cheaters and delete only their scores, hell yeah drop some nukes on them.

Agreed. The loss isn't worth the gain.

However, what if there was a way to upload automatically a replay with your high score? You could download / watch every single replay and then perhaps contest it and if it is proven to be false, get deleted? Though that's all theoretical and quite hard to implement for Team Meat right now I imagine. Still, it is a possible fix.

Got it this afternoon! Meat Boy

Though it was weird, I got it after beating 7-18x, Ninja too, with 19x, 20x and DW Dr Fetus left. But I didn't want to abuse the system so I beat those levels too :P

All the achievements I have left are all the Boy's, minus Wood Boy
8  Super Meat Boy / Meat Talk / Re: What kind of extra non-game content would you like to see in the retail edition? on: February 09, 2011, 04:55:07 PM
Poster!!!! I would buy it, keep poster, and give the game to someone.

And CD would be nice too :P
Maybe a "Making of" feature? For Super Meat Boy I'm really interested in how it was made, actually...

Personally? I'd have to say Skyscraper 2 with bandage. Skyscraper as a whole was annoying, but 2 was just...ugh.. Those first few jumps were so precise, and I constantly hit this one spike. Only having 3 tries and having to beat 1 every time before you can retry 2 made it even more nerve-wracking. And having to go through it again because of the bandage? Ohhhh god.

But, as an individual level it wouldn't be as bad. As such, I'd say The Kid 1 on its own. First time using a character and you have to go through that hellish maze of death.

Though I suppose the more levels you do beforehand, the easier the later levels are. I noticed that with the Cotton Alley Dark World, I beat it in about 4 hours-ish while Skyscraper and The Kid took too damn long, but I dead Cotton Alley Dark World last.

Well that's my 2 cents anyway!
