Earlier today I posted problems I was having with trying to launch SMB (http://supermeatboy.com/forum/index.php/topic,2360.0.html) [I suggest reading that post before this one].  After an entire morning of frustration, I deleted Steam, re-installed and it seems I've gone backwards.  Now I can't even get an error message.  The window, "Launching Super Meat Boy..." from Steam flashes and then it closes.  So I went and tried to run SMB without Steam and an error message appeared and said...

The procedure entry point _except_handler4_common could not be located in dynamic link library msvcrt.dll.

I have no clue if this actually is important or not, but it's what happened.  So I tried putting 122kb in, I tried adding -windowed, and I tried reinstalling the game.  All of my graphic/video drivers are updated and I've reinstalled DirectX twice.  Please help, because I'm about to just delete the game forever because it's making me so frustrated!!!

I'm running on Windows XP 2007, Optiplex 330 Home Edition (I'm a n00b with computers, I so sorry :P)

I've done both of those things, and as the window for SMB opened, an error message said this...

An error has occurred and a mini-dump (hehe) has been sent to Team Meat.  We'll fix this ASAP. Sorry about this.

Then the window closed. So is there anything I can do now?
 

About two weeks ago I bought SMB on Steam after hearing all about it for so long.  After buying it I installed it and everything was fine.  When I tried to open it after it was done downloading, it said SMB preparing to launch and the screen went black.  After about 10 seconds an error message showed up for a split second (so the message is unreadable) then it goes back to a black screen.  I checked the website http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ and it said my computer would run it fine.  So I deleted SMB, reinstalled it, and still the same problem. I updated ALL of the Video Drivers, as well as numerous times of rebooting the computer.  I asked my friend and he said wait a day or two so Steam can verify the purchase... it's been two weeks. If anybody can help, I would be grateful because my patience is running low. (I'm running on Windows XP, and I have a Dell Optiplex 330.  Sorry i'm such a n00b with computers. Also, my other games The Binding of Issac and Counter Strike work fine.)
