I've been playing this for a while now, and I must say I'm impressed. It's a very smooth and somehow relaxing experience, considering the often ballz-to-the-walls difficulty it presents in the later levels.

There's been a patch recently, I think it had the level editor in it, as well as changing the layout of the hubs to a slightly more compact style. It also made it so that you don't need to get all SS ranks to get keys. You will still need to get all SS ranks to unlock the final level, I'm pretty sure. And I'm just a few levels away...

The trick to the no-hit achievements is to get the Map + Compass early (Isaac + D6 is preferred for this). After that, just rush to the boss room every floor. This makes the achievements way easier, because every floor will only have 4-5 rooms you have to go through.

Oh look, I'm on that list.
I'll be challenging this score shortly, mainly because I really like that level.

This game reminded me of SMB a little. It is very fun, although also quite easy once you understand the gimmick well. Enjoy ^^

If you played for more than 50 hours it doesn't really matter anymore if you play with a keyboard or a gamepad.
You can play good with both.

I guess I'm a rare minority then, I've got a whooping 400+ hours and I can't wrap my brain around the keyboard controls (even when I tried remapping the keys).  I guess it's just the rapid left and rights I can't get used too...

Same, I'm too used to moving my thumb left and right quickly. Doing it with 2 other fingers is just not the same speed, bro.
6  Super Meat Boy / Meat Helping / Re: How do you think Dark World is entered? on: February 08, 2012, 02:26:05 PM
The Light World ending doesn't explain it that well, but Meat Boy realizes he touched one too many needles in the hospital and the entire Light World was a crack dream. The Dark World is the actual game.

I should get a 3DS dev kit too then, seeing how I'm not planning to develop anything for it.
8  Super Meat Boy / Suggestions / Re: Cheatprotection and reseting obviolsly non-fair stats on: January 30, 2012, 02:53:50 PM
Getting a 0.00 time is not cheating, it's in fact a glitch that happened a LOT in the early stages of release on Steam. Most people who play the game often (like, OFTEN) have a couple of 0.00s times. Nothing they can do about it, because the leaderboards times can't be reset.

Yeah! I just unlocked Bluebaby, and I had a killer run to go with it. It was a Maggy playthough, and fittingly, I got a lot of Soul Hearts along the way.

Having the Nail equipped with the Battery really helped, although it does make you a little prone to making mistakes (Using it in a room you didn't need to, rampaging into enemies for extra damage, breaking rocks you needed to use for shelter, etc.), but I didn't mind about that.

Now my mom kills stand at an even 10. I did have the chance to visit Sheol, but I passed on it so I could see the 10th ending. I wanted to feel satisfied, instead of having such a momentous run end on a death. Not to mention, I wanted to listen to that hellish music...

Now that you mention it, I miss that music. After the 11th ending it's just fly buzzing instead of the ending music. I hope that will change.

Yeah after the Xmas update you can get Golden God with one less item (because the Coal counts as an extra item). I find it funny, because you could also get Golden God in SMB without actually 100%ing it before that was patched (I remember getting it at 97 bandaids).
11  Super Meat Boy / Level Showcase / Re: Zero Hour *UPLOADED* on: January 15, 2012, 06:52:21 AM
^I had the exact same problem with Diamond Quarter. I know it's a timing thing (and I made it pretty far once or twice) but yeah it's too inconsistent to spam an entire level full with.
Jumping off the non-existant half of half blocks also doesn't really work for me very consistently, but at least it's better than the diamonds.

Other than that, I'm a fan of the design, very clean and smooth.
Difficulty is of course ridiculous, but I expected nothing less so it's fine for the people who are into that. Last level is called Thank You but it's not very grateful, in my opinion.

Done. With the entire game. I can't believe it. Now let's wait for the update.

If you want to TAS, just stream the game while playing. It'll run at ~1fps so perfect for all those TAS tricks.

Nothing sad about that, you just gotta keep practicing.
Today, Greed was in a secret room in The Womb 2 two rooms away from Mom, lamely cheating me out of the Womb Boy achievement. (the last achievement I need)
I can't forgive this.

Yeah, the bandages are just there to piss you off. The second stage is really not that bad. The only bad thing is that you have to do it twice in a row. The third bandage is a joke, you can get it without taking risks.
