Super Meat Boy / Meat Helping / Re: Should I buy Super Meat Boy for the xbox 360?

Not gonna lie, but I really tried playing it on Xbox360, since it was where I played it first in fact. I can conclude that I don't really like the Xbox360 version as much as the Steam one. The game runs a LOT slower, even compared to my slow laptop. Not only the levels themselves feel slower, but also the load times between levels. When I'm practicing speedruns and stuff, it starts to bug me after a while. Also, the controls of the Xbox360 controller don't feel that responsive (although neither does the keyboard, therefore I use my USB controller) since the A button especially requires a deep push which is not ideal if you play for extended periods of time.
I do like the internets by the way, and for some people it apparently is more stable. It actually froze for me once on the Xbox360 and it hasn't been freezing since the last Steam update on the PC version, so I dunno, maybe they're about as stable now.

Game Maker is quite easy to use and not as convoluted to do things with as Visual, but they both require a fair amount of getting used to. I like Game Maker because most of it does what you think it does, so it's not that complex to make more simple stuff like 2d shooters or platformers. For drawing, you really need to try InkScape. It's vector-based so you can make the graphics to look just like Isaac, and it's extremely simple to use. One of my favourite programs for real.

The problem with control mapping is that it only changes in-game controls when you're INSIDE A LEVEL. It won't do anything for menu navigation. You're gonna have to figure those out yourself (they are mapped to something usually on most controllers) and stick to them, whether you like it or not.

Got all the no-hit achievements except for the Womb one today. Can't wait for the update, hopefully there will be one for Sheol (and possibly whatever abomination comes after that, if there's gonna be more levels at least)

Considering Isaac (without the d6) is better than Eve, and you get her after Isaac, I think she should be a little bit more powerful. I don't think any of her stats should be changed, but possibly another passive/spacebar item to come along with her.
The thing I have with Eve is that both her passives are quite underwhelming. I think the Curse gives her a bit more damage, but nothing stellar. Judas + Belial still laughs her in the face. The AI on the dead bird is just horrifying. Eve is supposed to be the character where taking risks rewards you (because she's unlocked by dealing with the Devil, which is risk itself) , but taking a hit just to summon the stupid bird is bad in every situation I can think of.

Isaac wins this easily, after you complete the game with ???. The d6 eliminates the need to pick up items that are not worth it and allow the player to craft an ungodly powerhouse very easily.
Second pick is probably Judas, I like being able to murder bosses quickly right off the bat, but if you're unlucky with HP ups, he can be a little tricky for the late game.

^I think PHD makes it so you can't get Tears/Health/Speed DOWN pills, only UP pills. Not sure though. Brimstone is now tied to your damage stat, but it's still too unfair and overpowered compared to other 1-heart trades with the Devil, say, stuff like the Ouija Board. It also makes Technology obsolete. Edmund should just remove it imo, it's not fun to play with it (maybe for the first time).

Alright. So on the topic of Let's Break Isaac, I just encountered a couple of things. First of all, the game does NOT like you having more than 5 things/minions following you. It starts doing all kinds of weird glitches, like making some minions look like others. In some rooms I had 2 or 3 Bobbys, in all others I had none. It could be my specific loadout, which is this: http://i44.tinypic.com/24oylb8.png (not shown is the Brother Bobby that got glitched away) And, needless to say, the lag while having this truckload behind you is absolutely abysmal. Remember the devil before the patch? Yeah, it's that bad.
