-3 and -5 are the hardest for me. I hate missile launchers.

-4 and -6 are easy: they need to have more obstacles put in.

-1 and -2 aren't too bad. Took a lot of tries to learn the route, but once I'd figured them out repeating it isn't too difficult.

I guess I should probably get one.

Yes, I'd say so. I enjoyed the first 2 COD games, but after that they became pretty mediocre.

What about achievements for doing an A+ run of an entire world?

Dying would be allowed (otherwise it's just a harder version of no-death achievements) but you have to either die or complete the level within A+ time.

Changing characters would have to be made illegal for this, as you could just switch if the timer is getting close to running out.

The no death achievements are for the perfectionists, where as A+ achievements would be the equivalent for speed-runners.

Well I finally did it.

Replaying the first level wasn't too bad. Much like many meatboy levels, once I'd gotten round it the first time, doing it again only took a few attempts.

The second level took about 5 hours. Why oh why can't we save the replays? I must have had over 1000 deaths before I managed to get down that third elevator. Fortunately I got up the 4th elevator on my first try.

I didn't really have any problems with the 3rd level though. I just took it slowly, probably jumped way more flying spikey barriers than needed, but it didn't take too long. This was the only level that I could actually get a "feel" for the character. The other two were so cramped with nowhere you could run and jump. The whole time I was wishing I could play the kid on level 1-1, just to let me get a feel of his movements.

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed having unlocked him. He's not as useful as I'd been led to believe. Still nothing beats the sence of relief that I NEVER HAVE TO PLAY THOSE LEVELS EVER AGAIN!!!

Voted missile launchers, but having spent the whole evening playing the kid level 2...... I think I'll change that to moving platforms + spikes.

I just did. It's too hard.

After a couple of hours I'd only managed to get past the second elevator about half a dozen times. Then I'd either die on the jump in the middle or the first set of spikes on the 3rd elevator.

The first level was pretty difficult, but it actually felt like practice did something. On this one, I just can't get the timing right on the second or third elevator, the only way it seems possible for me to get past it is through fluke.

I also get this, along with the meatboy ducking/squishing thing. I think it's due to my crossfire hd5850's, as the game runs fine with crossfire disabled.

Beef Jerky.

Flywrench because of the awesome graphics.

I have these problems and they're definitely NOT caused by lag, they seem to be caused by crossfire cards.

My system specs are as follows. i5 750@ 4.0ghz, 2xHD5850's, 4gb of ram, vertex SSD Way way over spec for what SMB needs. I've tried the lower resolutions, they don't make any difference.

I have v-sync enabled in the catalyst control panel, FRAPS displays a steady 60fps, but unless I disable the crossfire cards, I have all of these problems. With crossfire disabled, the game runs perfectly, but Its quite annoying having to disable a graphics card every time I want to play.

It'd be great if you guys could have a look into SMB performance with crossfire (and SLI for that matter) as I'm sure there are some problems caused by multiple gpu's.

Not yet. After a couple of hours of practice...... I've gotten to the last jump on the first level.

I might practice some more tonight.
