My gamepad isnīt working properly in game. I can start up the game, I can use the D-pad and all the buttons in the meny and the world map but when I start the game the D-pad stops working. The buttons seem to work since I can jump, but I canīt move. This is kind of annoying especially since the splash screen states that I more or less would be an idiot for not playing with a pad.

Are there any knows work arounds for this or is there a patch in the making? A quick google search makes me realize that Iīm not the only one with gamepad problems.

ps. The gamepad is a generic USB pad but since it works in every other context and even in Super meat boy (up to the game itself. I would rather have it the other way around...) the problem lies not with the gamepad.

I have been contacted by people who have the same problem as I did.
I hold an answer to this question, thought I would share it here if more people find this post wondering the same as I did some time ago.

They are fine with it (or at least Edmund is), so go nuts! :)

I never started this series on my own - but if I will later on I can now back it up.
Good luck now!

I figured out the notes for the Chapter 1 level select theme. Yes it isn't perfect, but here it is  Meat Boy

This is the link to the website where I uploaded the music, just press the green play button to hear it. Please enjoy! Tell me if you want me to make the other ones as well

I've gotten to the second level, but just couldn't beat it. Still have yet to unlock him. I think the last time I tried to was about 3 months ago. Havent played the game since then, and I really should get back to it so I can finally finish all the dark world levels, and unlock the rest of the characters.

I really like how you did the eyebrows. The fire in the eyes do look a little out of place though. Other than that, great fan art!

If I'd had to do 7-15x Patience I'd never have got it.

This is actually something I've thought about for a while...  or rather, occasionally, since I haven't been playing the game that long.

I love the characters, setting, and overall premise of Super Meat Boy, but every time I think of a sequel, one question immediately pops into my mind: what would a sequel add?  What would the point be in a sequel?  What could Team Meat do that they haven't already done with this game?  ...And the original Meat Boy game on Newgrounds.

I feel like a sequel could be a waste of time and effort that could be put into making new, original games, as much as I'd like to see a sequel.

I will be happy if the hypothetical sequel was only more and better. I mean, more levels (marvellously designed like the original, of course), with more charachters. Nothing more, like an expansion pack.
