Video Games Live, for those who don't know, is a live symphony orchestra/rock concert that plays music from video games in a spectacular light show with games being played on a large projector screen. They've done music from so many games including Mario, Zelda, Halo, Portal, Beyond Good & Evil, Mega Man, Castlevania, BioShock, Silent Hill, really the list just goes on and on. I saw the show for the first time back in December and, let me just say, it was amazing. Then I got to thinking... how amazing would it be to hear some music from Super Meat Boy? There's no doubt that SMB has one of the greatest gaming soundtracks in recent years. And hearing that music played by a live orchestra? Yes please.
Now, it might be a bit crass for Team Meat to approach them and say "hey, play music from our game", so how about this? Everyone should get an account on their
forums and go to
this thread I already made suggesting Super Meat Boy and give it some support. It may be a long shot but they DO listen to fans and several pieces in the show have been added due to fan request.
Not to mention it would expose even more people to this wonderful little game.
