I'm not sure whether it was via Last.fm (as a recommended listening track), saw the link on Twitter or a friend with an obsession for French music send me the link. I'm gravitating towards Last.fm though as that's the way I find most of the new (as in I haven't heard them before) music I listen to.

This is a band most of metalheads are ashamed to like. I was also for a time. With their aweful-gay-emo-trendy look, their metal-like pop-rock... Theiy have all the features a normal metalhead hate. But they also have catchy melody and some teenage energy which are both really seducing. They are also great musicians, full of idea, original. It's the typicall band that most love hating and hate loving but that everybody listen to. The most I listen to their album, the more I found them brilliant...

First off, the one I sent yesterday on IRC was the mellow mellow Nicole Simone track called MELT.

As for what I'm listening to right now, it's Love Hearts by Flunk, a Norwegian electronic band with the lovely lovely female voice of Anja Øyen Vister.

If you like that track also check out Cigarette Burns and Common Sense or even better, listen to their album called This Is What You Get released by Beatservice Records in 2009.

And yes, I have a small obsession with female lead singers.
