Instead of Guitar Hero, let's make more with more instruments. Sitar Hero, Flute Hero, Trombone Hero, etc. This needs to happen since all Guitar Hero games are so similar and it would be a refreshing change.

I'd like Triangle Hero. Hardcore one button action.

Legendary Game Developers Crossover:  The Game  (a hardcore technical platformer with open world exploration and scoring).

Retro Studios vs. Team Meat vs. Nintendo Tokyo EAD(for game design/programming/polish/characters/etc)

Kenji Yamamoto vs. David Wise vs. Danny B (for epic tunes!)

BEST GAME EVER!!!

Let me rephrase this:

3 of the world's foremost devs are brought together to make a small game, repeated ad nauseam.

Think of the combinations!

I like to think of it as a collaboration effort. But they can't use thier previous characters in a crossover. Only 1 character of previous ony if they star in a totally different game.

^I'm actually in favor of a sort of DJing of gameplay ideas within a single game...a collaboration yet a competition at the same time.  Imagine a game where Retro Studios level designers and artists competed with Team Meat for best ideas (within development) and Nintendo EAD competed with both for creativity and innovative design.  Imagine the possibilities when all these teams put their competitive spirits on the line and tried to 1-up each other.  And every week a blog was updated Smash Bros Brawl-style, where we the fans get a sneak peak at the internal competition.

Add a vs. competition of Kenji/Wise/Danny B to the mix and you see where I'm going.  It could be amazing to see top level talent competing (and collaborating) at this level.  It would be revolutionary for the industry.
