I'll be blunt though, several of the levels don't have nearly enough colour contrast...10 in particular.
Really, you think so? I can still address this. Just need a little work that's all. No offense, it just seems a lot of stuff you commonly do when designing bugs me :x lol

It's not really big stuff, just little pet peeves mostly...like the colours.
And let it rain. Still hate let it rain.

These look really nice, I enjoyed your previous level pack (despite the occasionally masochistic difficulty) and I'm pretty sure this one will only be better.
If by any chance you need another tester, I'd be volunteering to try it out and see if I also get lag issues on my side.
Yeah that would be a big help actually, I really need to figure out what to do about this lag issue. I have absolutely none on my end... but I also have a bit of an overkill computer for SMB (not trying to brag, just for the sake of this point). Maybe you could send me a message if you're free. Thanks.

Right, and you shouldn't be expected to have any more than that just to run some custom levels. I take it SMB runs fine in the standard retail capacity?

Just checked the mediafire info for the chapter, many downloads now, should be 2... looks like someone shared the password with others. Not pleased. It's not that I don't want people to play it... I really do, but I don't want people to get the wrong impression if something is not working correctly. That's all...

And about the downloads, I gave it to cousinoer (I said it wasn't the final version) because he was really itching to play it. Somehow Leiche got it as well?

Gonna round out the final comments I wanted to say to you concerning your chapter so far.
TP18: Unfortunately, this level doesn't work. Moving platforms in this engine are pretty buggy, from what I've experienced with them in my own designs, and this level just exacerbates the problems you can encounter with them. You can randomly clip through the platforms (it would happen anytime I ran to the right). Walljumps will not work correctly most of the time or they'll send you flying out of the box. All in all, I haven't been able to accomplish anything in this level. You probably should try out stuff that could negate those problems (such as slowing the box down, making it larger or stuff like that).
TP19: Oooh, the pretty colors. I didn't like the coloring on the active layer, however. It seemed to clash against the colors found in the sky and thus didn't fit. The level's pretty basic and simple, but the trippy psychedelic sky was a nice feature.
TP20: God, this is a hard one. Well, the final level in the chapter should be difficult, so this is fine. The coloring, once again, feels pretty weird as there's no contrast at all in places like the insides of buildings, the backdrop is of the same color than the active blocks. Sometimes the route through the level was unclear, due to the many destructible blocks found around as they aren't always necessary. Finally, as you said, it needs some extra decoration.
Anyway, in general I'd say this chapter is a lot more approachable than The Lime Key because the levels are far easier yet remain challenging and fair (for the most part). It's also more consistent in theme and more coherent, yet it features a good range of experimentation and showcases some new concepts without being as scattershot.
The main things you'll want to watch for is your lighting effects, the weird blueish green look that is found in many of the levels is not fun to look at. Your backgrounds are fantastic and very well detailed, although the floors and walls aren't as good looking; some levels seem to only use one tile to draw the entire level course. And finally, make sure your gears aren't floating in the sky. :)
As I said earlier, this will definitely be a complete improvement over your first chapter. I'm glad you allowed me to try it out as it was worth it!

Update for those who care: I wrote to Team Meat about the lag issues and I think I have some pretty good ideas as to how to reduce (and hopefully eliminate it completely). Be aware though that I may have to make some small compromises in my designs as you currently know them for everything to play perfectly. So if you wonder why all of a sudden the camera works a little differently than it did... it's so there's no lag. I wish I didn't need to do that stuff, but it's more important to me that this is professional and seamless (and that everyone can have an enjoyable experience), than it is for there to be extravagant lighting effects. That is if I absolutely have to pick between them of course. Those who tried the chapter and had significant lag, I may need to call upon you at some point to try some levels out again... if you can help me with that, I'd be very grateful as I can't really replicate the problem without outside help. As I just said in a PM to Cousinoer5, I'm very appreciative to everyone for going so far out of their way to help me get this in order, and I'm thankful as hell to be a part of such an awesome community. You guys really are great! Also special thanks to Team Meat for taking a few minutes away from their pressing matters to answer my long, rambling e-mail. I really appreciate it guys! I've gone through the whole chapter with a good number of people now and I have some great notes that I will be checking off for each level to make this as polished and perfect as possible! Back in I go...

Got 12 of the 20 levels to their tip-top shape so far. I don't think they'll be lagging people anymore. I did some serious rearranging and it's definitely for the better. Everything that people mention was considered and addressed where necessary.
