Just played through these and the first word I can think of is "wow". There are so many fresh ideas in these levels that it was hard to process all of them in such a short time. Generally, I loved the visual side of all levels. I actually stopped at some levels to simply stare at the scenery. For example, Bonobo really impressed me with it's organic look. The levels are solid also gameplaywise. I think most of them possess a great potential for advanced speedrunning and I'm especially glad that a big part of this chapter can be cleared without grinding too much skill. Some levels do demand a lot of repetition to learn the route or to pull out a few advanced tricks, but those levels are otherwise so interesting that they probably encourage most players to keep playing. Sorry for not digging any deeper. I'm sure you've gotten a lot of level specific feedback already. So, as a conclusion, I really enjoyed this pack and I think it will be a lot more suitable for the masses of SMB players than the Lime Key. You've clearly learned from the good amount of feedback and put it into practice and I think the direction in your designs is very good at the moment.

I tried really hard to not get stuck in a spot where I wasn't honestly internalizing what people felt about the levels as I went. I didn't want that frustrating dynamic where I say I want help, but I really just want what I want regardless of feedback. Just to be clear though, feedback was about very specific things for the most part (a block here or there, color issues, ect.), and I know it's also extremely important not to design by committee if you want to have a strong and unique design at the end. I learned a lot in this process and I'm really happy with how it all came out. I'm glad you guys seem to like it too! I also want to say specifically to sh00takai: sorry I didn't reply to your request to test. I'll definitely keep you up to speed on the next thing I work on if you want in on that!

It demands a lot of work to take everyone's opinions into consideration. I've been doing that in my current project and it has affected the creation speed a lot, but it has also brought me a lot of vital information about the good and bad in my creations. I've been completely blind to the levels I've made, so this kind of an interactive development has at least opened my eyes a bit. Anyway, I think that for experienced level creators things like these are obvious and they are more aware of how to adjust everything. For people who just started, me included, it's a different story. About feedback, I assumed you took at least Edmund's tweet about the Lime Key ("It's too fucking hard!") seriously before opening the concept dump and this project. I'm willing to test your levels whenever possible. I'll keep an eye on your upcoming projects.

Anyone who tried these before they were finished want to weigh in on the final product?
Also, almost done with the full run video. Just need to add in some title cards, music and transitions.

Update:- Added link to my full run video on YouTube.
- Added A+ times.
I know the video is quite dark and I'm sorry about that. I wish I knew better what to do to keep that from happening. I am of course open to advice for next time... but chances are I'm not planning to make a new video of this now. If anyone else could make one, that would be very helpful and nice of you. Thanks as always for your support and comments!

Thanks! I'd be totally up for it if it turns out that people would be interested in harder versions... especially since I had to scale back the difficulty on most of them at some point.

Hey great job man, I can't say much right now but I finished all of the levels with joy after beating them. Unlike Lime Key these gave a sense of direction and wanting to complete. I had a couple similar ideas and now it gives me a better understanding how to implement them, thanks! So ya very pretty, well designed and original. It's great getting new content like THIS. You obviously have a good grasp on the level editor.

Hey guys, this thread is sadly pretty dead... but I do have two new pieces of news: The Passenger should show up in SMW this week at some point, and XBLA hopefully next month. Thanks again to everyone!

What about a dark world? People have mentioned this and I think it could be pretty awesome to do.
