I have not looked at the math, but from my experience and others you get this achivement at 105% regardless of how you did it.

So you could miss 4 bandages or 4 levels. I had 4 levels remaining when I got the achivement, everything else completed. I guess it varies from person to person.

Like I said, he changed the math well after I completed everything.  The numbers didn't add up to 106% way back when.  If it is indeed 105%, math adjusts accordingly...

If you have 5 glitches cleared, you must have all levels cleared and bandages collected
If you have 6 glitches cleared, you can be missing any combination of 4 levels cleared and bandages collected

well, glitch levels help but not much. as far as I can see, they add a % and a % needed, but you get the achivement at 105.5% so they make what you didnt complete worth less % therefore making it easier to get.

Go read my post above yours.  Your example is extremely flawed.

My example was from my personal experience and my friend's.

I had all the bandages and all the glitch levels completed and 10 regular levels unbeaten. I reached the golden god when I completed 6 regular levels, making me have 4 regular levels unbeaten. My friend on the other hand had all the levels beaten (including glitch levels), but he was missing 20 bandages. He got the golden god after collecting 16 bandages (making him miss 4 bandages).

I also read some posts on the Super Meat Boy Steam forums, where players said Glitch levels do not count for the golden god achievement. Here's a link for the thread: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1758746

So I do not think that my example is flawed at all :)

Well then, if glitches don't count and it is given at 105% with all 6 done, then logic would suggest you only need 99% of "progress" to get it.  So about a 4 level/bandage difference.

Interesting subject though i am not following along at all xD

If it helps, i got golden god and meat ninja when i A+ed every level exept 3 dark Cotton alley levels and 2 dark The end levels. I completed 2 glitch lvls when this happend tough.. hm. I guess you get bonus % of them.
By the way, i completed those 5 levels afterwards ^^

The progress stat doesn't discriminate between clears and a+ clears.  Any clear type is fine as long as it is indeed cleared.

I didnt clear them at all.. but i think your explanation of it sounds most correct :P

Glitch levels don't count at all.
You have to get anything above 99% (rounded up to 100% in the stats menu) to get golden god. If you obtained all bandages, you ussually get golden god when there's still 4 levels left to do. Just look at your percentage ingame and substract 1% for every glitch world you completed to see how far you are.

EDIT: You only have to complete the levels. It doesn't matter if you beat partime or not. Ofcourse you will need to get that A+ if you want to complete the dark world counterpart aswell at all the regular worlds ^^

Considering I unlocked it within days of owning the game upon its late November release date?  pft!
