on topic: i dont realy want to risk all the trouble going wasted but does steve count for no death runs, or is it the same as finishing a level with him normaly?

These two characters don't count for anything, they can't complete levels, get bandages, get achievements, appear in leaderboards, nothing, they're just here for having fun with them.

Actually:

- they can complete levels (not even single levels, but whole game)
- they can't collect bandages, because when you get them, there aren't any left :P
- you can't make no-death runs for achievements with them
- they don't appear in leatherboards anymore

Yes they can, but the levels is still unbeaten if you only beat it with them. (well, Steve because you already beat everything when you unlock Meat Ninja)
