yeah, we contacted ATI and they are sending out cards asap. we will have an ATI update soonish.
sadly we contacted both graphics card publishers about this before releasing and only nvidia send us cards to test on...

By watching that video, some comments said that lowering the gpu speed and memory in the Catalyst Control Center worked, and it did.
I enabled ATI Overdrive, and lowered the speed, and wootz the graphic artifacts disappeared. It's a temporal solution until the problem get's solved :D

Yes, its as you say. The only problem is that no everybody wants to underclock his card with the Ati panel. For a temporally fix, It works great!

I have played this game on both a Geforce GTX275 and a Radeon 6850, and the flicker only presents itself on the Radeon.
After flicking through every setting in Catalyst and SMB, I came to these conclusions.
-If you leave Catalyst at default the glitches are profound. -If you set Anti Aliasing in Catalyst the glitches become less noticeable. -If you set SMB to Windowed mode the glitches become less noticeable.

I'm experiencing this problem as well and it's gotten really, really annoying. I have a 6850. When is this going to be fixed? I can't keep playing with all these visual artifacts messing everything up.
Is the team working on this issue?

A short fix: Buy a graphics card and switch your old one with it.

I was just hoping that we might get an update to when they will get around to it. The last info from them that I could find was dated Jan. 22. A simple "Still waiting on a card from them" would be fine, but at least some acknowledgement that the problem hasn't been forgotten would be welcomed.

Another workaround that nearly removes artifacts:
Since underclocking achieved nothing for me ->
Use a software to create game profiles like RadeonPro (or do it manually in the CCC) to enable Morphological AA
Makes Steam Overlay blurry, but artifacts are nearly gone. Still want a fix though. The bug is known for a long time now, i f*** paid money for the game...
