So...how do i start devmode without Steam? I know i should type -devmode but just can't find where

You should be able to do it with batch files.

First, open notepad and add this line:

SuperMeatBoy.exe -ultralowdetail

(You can add other parameters too, like -devmode. Just separate them all with spaces)

Then save it as a .bat and you can use it to launch the game.
(You can name it whatever you want, but it has to be in the same directory as SuperMeatBoy.exe unless you specify its directory inside the .bat)

Don't know about that notepad thingy, but as for a simplier way, at least my opinion, you:

1. Make a shortcut of Supermeatboy.exe
2. Right click the shortcut, go to properties
3. You should see something similiar in the "location", add -devmode to the end as you see here

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\super meat boy\SuperMeatBoy.exe" -devmode

As for custom characters, you go -devmode -char # (Don't know numbers tho)
